We were having trouble bleeding the clutch and wanted to make sure that we got all the air out that wasn’t being bled, to do that a vacuum was applied.
Yes it would cut it. I ended up putting a FXwerks race exhaust on because using auto zone and advanced auto exhaust pipes just kept rusting and causing exhaust leaks, lots of rattling too. Have yet to edit the video for the FXwerks still, been bout a year and a half with it and love it!
If your are in a state where you have emission test more than likely lt won’t pass, and as far as performance taking it off wouldn’t do much other than make the exhaust flow better.
I’m not for sure if it would be stock mostly bc from all the focus se I’ve seen they have the bent tail pipe after the muffler, but if it sounds stock it could be that someone just changed how the tail pipe looked
That is so stupid looking 😂 I’m no professional I’m just trying to see what my car will sound like the kid I bought of from cut the whole exhaust off and straight pipes it with a fart can I’m trying to make it quieter and not so ricey but it’s probably going to be all new exhaust with a small glass pack in place of the regular muffler just cause I’m not spending that kind of money on a muffler but deleted sound horrible haha
Also I didn’t make a video on it but I ended up completely making it straight piped from the cat back with no muffler or rice can, tbh it sounded decent but was very loud at times
hey brandon so i picked up a yz125 just the other day but its got an oil leak coming from where that big shaft goes through the piston. So where the rod is sticking out in there oil is leaking out from the gaskets that big thick one that the big cover rests on. I ordered new gaskets do you think that would solve it or does this seem abnormal. All good if you dont know or dont know what im talking about!
A gasket could be the cause, I would be able to help you out more if by "big cover" do you mean crankcase cover or is it something else? Also is it the connecting rod you mean by "big shaft goes through the piston?
I have problem with 2001 yz 2 stroke that dosent want to turn on, at times when try kicking it on aftet the 3rd kick it seems get really hard to kick and it always happens every after couple kicks. Can anybody help plz!! Bike has new top end new spark plug and its got spark, checked carburetor float and jets are clean and also checked reed valve and its in perfect condition.
This might be the problem or not, to me it sounds like an electrical issue and because you have spark I would check the stator timing marks next to see if it is in time, if not then there might be a different problem in the electrical wiring it has. With it getting hard to kick after a couple kicks may because it gets flooded since the fuel is not being combusted therefore it stays in a liquid state taking up volume in your cylinder basically making that space a hydraulic press.
@@thatindianaboy112 thank you for the response and yes i did find bad seal gaskets that was possibly causeing my bike hard to kick witch I'd replaced already i have not tried to turn on the bike yet still waiting on a new radiator to come in so hopefully when evething is put back together that it turns on smoothly.
I hope this is not a fake version of the IRig, because if it is, they did a good job making it look and work just like the real thing. The box might be different due to buying it from the Sweetwater website, but other than that I can assure its not fake. 👍🏽
I rebuilt my top end on my yz 125 and now in lower RPM's my bike seems to be slower and doesn't pull that good that it used to before with the old piston!
If I were to have this problem I would go back, if I felt like it, and check the ring end gap, piston size, and spark plug gap. If no problems there i'd see if the power valves could be adjusted some way, some bikes have an adjustment screw, if no results still then I would check reed valves. Honestly it might just be the carbs air and fuel mixture needs an adjustment since there's a new piston, I would mess with that first before I get into the engine.
When's next trip home? Gotta plan my Aunt's shopping list for goodies!😁 Still lovin the hair cut. Looks much better than right after we did the perm experiment!
