What's that trick called at 00:10 - 00:11 , i will try to describe it, you strum several string so quickly but only the string you are fretting makes the sounds. Please 🙏 🙏

Such a large percentage of you creators say "this is easy!" Well, maybe for you! Hearing it's easy and then finding I'm muting strings and can't quite work out what's wrong......extremely frustrating! Please reconsider how demoralizing that is for your raw beginners.

I just watched a video which showed easy versions of B flat you can play on the A&D strings, or on the A,D & G strings. Then I found your video showing easy versions on the G, B, and e strings. The only overlap in the videos was the full version on the 1st fret. I now think I’ve got a simple option for every occasion. However, where possible I am tending towards using the F-chord shape on the sixth fret version where possible (I’ve mastered one barre chord shape and I’m going to use it!).

I know I’m late to the party but this is a great video. I started playing again for the first time in almost 30 years, about 12 months ago. 30 min-3 hours a day for the last 145 days. It’s really starting to come together for me. Awesome video

Of course no one is the exception if you buy a smaller guitar but the problem is that smaller guitars are either crap or way expensive with little in between.

Does it matter if your guitar is electric acoustic? Can I use 8 or 9 just as I'm learning? I'm not using the electric yet. Lol

There is not a human being a live that can learn guitar in 9 months practicing 5 minutes a day. If you do that math on that it doesn't even equate to 24 hours worth of practice. The 10,000 hour rule basically says you need to put in 10,000 hours to master something. To reach intermediate, which I would say is the level he is describing you need 1500 hours. 5 minutes a day for 9 months equates to about 22.5 hours. So don't believe this guy

You can play any song terribly practicing 5 minutes a day for 9 months is likely what he meant to say

Had mine about a year, I barely tweaked the truss rod, put in new tusk pins and put on Diadario custom lights ...this guitar changed my life, I haven't used the onboards but getting ready to record and can't wait to see what I get out of it thru the mixer board ! Best guitar I've had ever for a hardworking songwriter ..I seldom need to tune when going hot to rehearse..if I tune it up to record I can get thru a 4 min song completely in tune and I am a hard strumming, hammer on and off player ..I spend about 2 hrs a day on it and as soon as I pick it up ..I'm back in love ! ...Guild..A.Loprenzi..Martin D18..they all sit in their cases now bc this axe is a workhorse..not a show horse.

Using inversions can change the position of the root but it is rare when playing a 145 blues.

My related problem at the moment is that when I try to rectify the issues by bringing my wrist further around to my fingers can curl properly, it then cause quite a lot of stretching (and subsequent strain/pain) in my wrist. Hopefully this will improve over time!...Haha I think that's the biggest problem of all - I want to be better NOW!

I've sanded down the saddle a tiny bit and it's made a pretty big difference. Gonna be bold and sand it down more soon. Also the truss rod IS adjustable (they even include the right sized allen wrench with the guitar!) It's been one of the easiest truss rods I've adjusted. Mine came with way more relief than I wanted. I will get a pro setup eventually, but just enjoying my honey-moon phase now and trying to learn more about it!

When you say "1 to 2 mms", that is surely misleading, because some peoples' "white" of the nails starts 5mm below the end of the fingers, and so the nail itself would not contact the string. An important test is to hold up the hand with your palm towards you, fingertips at eye level, and see how much of the nails you can see. A good average is to be just visible above the flesh, but needs and tastes vary.

My dad played one…I gave it to my nephew when my dad passed bc he was the only person in the family that played at that time… he still has it and loves the fact that it belonged to the man that he always admired in life more than any other man…my grandfather placed one as well ..and he played the banjo as well.. my grand dad accidentally in a work accident cut the tip of one of his fingers on his left hand so he restrung his guitar and banjo and taught himself to use the other hand.. 💕

I have been playing RS2014 for 7 years off and on. Problem with Rocksmith is that you learn chords pretty well on Rhythm mode, but you don't actually have to memorize anything about a song. If you just play this like the "real guitar, guitar hero" game it is, you won't know how to "play" any songs. I find myself in that predicament. It isn't like you can't slow it down, jack up the percentage skill, but lots of songs are too complex for that guitar hero interface. Something that becomes self evident in tablature, like an arpeggio, is really complex on that flying note display. You don't see what the chord is until it is too late, if you even have time to recognize it at all. If you want to get practice on strumming and playing chords, this product is good. If you want to learn how to shred or play more complex arrangements, I would say find a guitar teacher.

It’s for noobs. You have to pay for literally anything on there and I realized it’s just trying to teach super below basic stuff. If you know nothing about music it’s fantastic. I can play anything I want without a robot trying to recommend notes when their notes end up being so basic.
