Reminds me of working in a sand pit. Running an excavator to dump buckets onto grizzly bars to build up a huge pile, then having to change to a loader once it got too big and/or having to load up the trucks. Went a lot faster when there were two of us there but glacial slow by yourself, lol.
I just picked up the same region c200 with the spoolmatic 3 gun for $100 I just can't find any videos or much information regarding settings for using it on Steel what's c25 and solid core because my other welder is much too powerful for where I am at unless I install a 200-amp breaker any help would be greatly appreciate it
How do you know his requirements if it's staying on site or going off site here in Australia if it's going offsite you can only load maybe 13 tonne in a truck that size and if on-site not every driver likes their truck full to the max I was loading out trucks onsite and the drivers would usually tell you the amount of buckets they would like if it wasn't being weighed after all it's about tipping off safely as well but I suppose that's not a priority in some countries
@@tonyasiler7854 ohhh your talking about the truck drivers😆 yeah these knuckle heads are a nightmare! I started operating exacavtors was I 5 and before that I had been sitting on my dads lap since I was 3 months old. Good operators and drivers are far and few between now sadly
When I load my truck I usually high side the bucket to the right for the front then Highside it to the left for the rear & get a fairly even load weight wise
I know this is a very old video, but I hope some one told you by now that you never should use a water cooled torch with out the cooler running (circulating coolant) You will burn up your torch and leads by doing that... I cringed when I heard you say that you don't like running it with the cooler because it is "loud".... You might want to get an air cooled torch and lead if that is the case. Just trying to help ya out kiddo. I worked with a guy that forgot to turn on his cooler one day and smoked a $200 torch
hey i have the same machine, have you tried arc weld with it yet, if so,the manual says the amp on the dial isnt true amperage, its actually in percentage, like if your range is 40 to 190 would 0 be 40 amps? kind of confusing just getting started in this line of work.
JOHN DENINGER yes and what also sucks is welding around 100 amps is poplar so if you want to switch between 95 and 100a you have to turn off the machine and switch the amp range leaver, I just got a dialarc HF 310 welder for $340 kinda happy about that
Yes i do, its tucked away in a shed. Now that i have a lathe i'll probably pull it out and redo the Main boom pin and swing pin in 1 1/4. I was contemplating whether to get it running but since i already have the cylinders, pump and most of the hoses. I will also have to air arc a few of the welds out and re-weld since it was all done with a 120v welder and don't have a whole lot of faith in their strength. Would be awesome to be able to tow it with my quad and use it to clear trails! It won't be anytime soon though.

pick up this saw after having Chinese husky copy die after 3 years of moderate work...did 10 cubic meters of wood this year...with the Stihl. it has tons of power, well balanced and never a starting problem....just get good gas, sharpen the chain about every 2 hours of operation and give it chain oil....and I think many year of problem free operation should follow
Those are 1/2 " or 5/8 oring boss ports, your best option would have been to use an 1/2 oring boss by 1/2 jic straight nipple in each port. Ditch the npt because your adapter options are so limited. One the hoses I would have use a short sweep 90 degree (the hose on the right), and a long drop 90 degree for the hose on the left. It would have looked cleaner and you would have reduce your seal points from 5 to 4.
