PoinOrView provides the ringside view of human space exploration. The inspiration behind this channel can be attributed to my growing fascination with space exploration, intellectual curiosity, and an urge to catalogue mankind's pursuit of new cosmic frontiers. Videos on this channel capture the evolution of space science and space technology as humanity collectively spreads its wings and becomes multi-planetary, space-faring species.
My content is based on space-themed events, innovation, and achievements that pique our collective curiosity and shape the future of humanity.
To keep things interesting and interactive, please do not hesitate to hit me with your no-holds-barred comments and feedback so I can continue to find more engaging, creative and educational ways to capture and present humanity's quest for life in space.

The FAA does not have a problem with static fire tests; so SpaceX can hardly be described as "thumbing thier nose" at the FAA. The FAA simply wants SpaceX to conform to FAA Regulations... like everyone else does; and WITHOUT childish complaints in Public letters!
As the FAA delayed approval for the launch of Starship 5, SpaceX continued to push ahead with testing the engines of Starship 6. They are messing with the wrong guy.
Why test the Mechazilla catcher when NASA is expecting HLS Lunar Starship to land on the Moon in late 2026 with landing legs? Why isn't SpaceX testing HLS lunar landing legs? And why is SpaceX testing the StarLink 'ComSat Dispenser', when NASA is expecting HLS Starship to come equipped a 'Lunar Cargo Lift'? And why has SpaceX wasted time on a "Space Tourist" EVA spacesuit; all the while knowing that NASA has been having problems for years trying to build, or aquire, lunar EVA spacesuits? Does Elon Musk REALLY intend to build, or even land, a lunar version of Starship for NASAs Artemis program? Or, when late 2026 rolls around and SpaceX has delayed Artemis 3 to 2027 or beyond, Elon Musk throws in the towel, leaving NASA with their 2nd Option, the "Blue Moon" lunar lander, from "The National Team" consortium. Questions.
ULA Vulcan and Blue Origin New Glenn are fast leaving SpaceX Falcons behind on the road to Space Industry relevance. Elon Musk only built Falcons to fly to LEO, so he could cheaply launch his 60,000 StarLink comsats; so Elon Musk can DOMINATE LEO, rather than make Space access cheaper to others. Ask Wall Street.
China is now No. 2 in number of rocket launches and core rocket technology, surpassing Russia and Europe. But beating the U.S. is still a tough challenge.
Considering how late China got into the game and how quickly it surpassed Europe and Russia, anything is possible. In the next decade China will likely catch up to USA if not surpass.
I'm not sure about that. It's obvious they won't match or surpass rockets like Starship, even in the next decade. However, if we don't count SpaceX, a lots other US companies like Blue Origin's New Glenn, Rocket Lab's Neutron, Firefly's Terran R have more impressive reusable rockets under development compared to what China is working on right now.@@PointOrView
I remember sometimes ago there's a report saying China high speed railways have passed more than 42,000 km in length and this is more than all the countries in the world combined. Indians commented that China may have more high speed railways and better train technology. But for sure space technology China is at least 20 years behind India. After reading those comments, I started 😂😂😂😂😂😂.
Interestingly these 2 CAS-built navigation satellites were reported as the last pair of the "global network" Beidou-3 series for China's navigation satellites constellation, so maybe the next ones will be of the 4th generation.

he is very controversial person. I know how he meme the second assassination attempt to Trump on X. someone in powerful political groups absolutely doesn't like him.
“NASA puts their faith in @SpaceX for all astronaut transport to and from the [International Space Station], but somehow [FAA] leadership thinks they know better,” Elon Musk wrote in a post on X to his almost 200 million followers. In another post, Musk said, “I am highly confident that discovery will show improper, politically-motivated behavior by the FAA.”
Yes, and the rocket can carry a whopping 3500kg to LEO. SpaceX Falcon 9 can only carry 22,800kg. That's only 6.5 times as much payload, so Russia is way, way ahead in having the way smaller rockets. :-)
Это космическая ракета, а не баллистическая, она разгоняется постепенно. Полезная нагрузка достаточно "нежная", она требует постепенного нарастания перегрузок. Не ссы, за тебя всё продумали...

He went on front as soldier. Also he was elected as senator there. Roscosmos is now ruled by his old deputy Borisov. I remind, before Roscosmos Rogozin was head of Russian MIC (Military Industrial Complex), it is he ruled with development of new hypersonic missiles, new heavy ICBM Sarmat (which can fly not over North pole as all rest, but also over South Pole) and rest stuff. After he finished his work, he was assigned as head of Roscosmos, while Borisov as head of MIC. Now he again came after him. And Rogozin not nut, but incredible clever guy. He is famous in Russia as first guy who wrote two diploma thesis at same time in MGU (Moscow State University, largest and oldest university in Russia). How many diploma thesis wrote you when finished University?! Also, he freely speak in 6 languages: French, English, Spanish, Italian, Czech and Ukrainian. Else at Soviet times he got second (economical) degree. He is also candidate of philosophical sciences, doctor of technical science. Author of many books, including military encyclopedia. As volunteer fought as regular soldier in Transnistria back in 1990. Built own political party and got second position in parliament, now he is senator, he was head of military industry, space industry. UA hunting for him, he was injured, but continued to fight... Classical example of real alpha-male who built incredible carrier (I bet after his will pass away, in Russia will be opened monuments to him). Now try to compare with own life and think again, who is nut?)
Are you kidding? Do you think the Russian half of the ISS (the very first modules) is vacant? If you are a Yank, well, that's 'QUITE' understandable; because Yankland is a nation of isolationists, ignorant of the World beyond their horizon. But any other human...? Goodnight, Slim van Winkle. 🇷🇺🚀🛰🌍🇺🇸 🤠🛌💤🌉
The launch was conducted by the combat unit of Russia’s Aerospace Forces' space troops. The spacecraft on board were deployed into space in the interests of the Russian Ministry of Defense. However, the agency did not specify the mission's objectives. #russia #angara #roscosmos
