Dodgers stadium was meant for car transportation...but they really should invest on that pedestrian path... traffic is just getting worse getting in and out of the stadium parking lot during sell out games. That one bridge should have better lighting at night I have walked through there once.
48% of revenue generated from parking, gate receipts, local broadcasting rights and merchandise is pooled from all teams. Then it gets split evenly between all 30 teams.
best peice of advice - dont wait until the hour clicks over to refresh the site as the time appraoches - i refreshed with about 10 seconds to go and ended up 1000th in line and secured a ticket - the browsers i refreshed after that (just a few seconds) were 36000 in the queue..... thank you so much for your advice about purchasing tickets! i tried today for the first time and was successful due to your advice! I can see someone else has refreshed about a minute before and gotten in the queue with a better spot - so id be refreshing all my browser options between one minute and ten seconds before ticket sales open - many thanks againi feel so very lucky!
Oh I am from AUS and had difficulty with 3 different cards - ended up calling my dad (bless him) and borrowed his numbers but he travels overseas and has a visa card - so good to know! assume ur card wont work - i had international purchases turned on - might be worth contacting ur bank before hand to lock it in or have some different card options.
Thank you so much! I refreshed one device about a minute before, and ended up 168th in line. The other device had me at about 28000. Then the server was overwhelmed, and couldn't process my payment. Thought my tickets were lost, but got an email saying that they'd made a provisional booking, and were holding them for me until "repayment". 3 hours and 38 minutes later, I finally got the payment to go thru!
Thank you for the tips. My experience today: 30 minutes before 10AM logon 3 devices - 10k, 27k 2.5k queues 15 minutes before 10AM logon 1 device - 18k 5 minutes before 10AM logon 1 device - 14k 5 seconds before 10AM logon 1 device - 4.8k If I had to do it again, I would logon 30 minutes before time with 4 devices, and 5 seconds before time with 2 devices. Seems like anything in between doesn't help much. After reaching the calendar selection, I quickly chose the date I wanted, despite it being a triangle. Choose 10AM. After entering details (auto fill helped) and dragging the item into the box security measure, I was notified there was not enough tickets left. I only chose to buy 2 tickets! Got back to the calendar and choose Noon instead. This time I got passed the "dragging item into box" phase. I had prepared info for address in Tokyo and Passport number which I saw in other vidoes. Today it asked for Nationality and arrival and departure airports. Upon payment, I got a notification on my "travel card" app to confirm my identitiy/purchase. Confirmed that on the app and on Lawson website, then done. Happily got tickets for my desired date. Thank you so much!
Thanks so much for your useful tips!!! I managed to get tickets tonight for my trip next month, I was 27,000 in the queue on one device but thankfully 2500 on another!!!😂 your tips were super helpful and made sure I got tickets, thank you!!!
Thank you for this info! Me and my wife had 6 devices connected. 4 had bigger allocated que number upon joining (30mins early) 1 got through but failed (sold out) on the day that I selected. The last one got through on the day that we wanted. Absolute Carnage but jubilation 😅🎉 it’s 3:11am back to bed 🛌
When Frank McCourt sold the Dodgers in 2012, he kept ownership of the parking lots. It's possible some revenue is shared with Guggenheim Baseball Management, the current Dodgers' owners.
hi! thank you for these tips! i'm going with a party of 7 of us (2 families). Do i need just my passport info to enter, or do i need everyone's passports to book this?
You just need the passport of who will be picking up the tickets. However, one person can only buy up to 6 tickets so you will need two different passport holders to buy some tickets for your party of 7
I totally flubbed the time zones and couldn't catch a ticket on the 10th thinking it was the 11th in my time zone. Is there any chance I could still get a ticket by someone who gives up or a situation like that?
Was today in the 13.000+ despite being 15 minutes early and could snipe a triangle ticket. For 4PM though, but happy I got two… maybe it was a second device that let go of the tickets until they managed their booking on one device. Went in as a single device user…
I had to pick a triangle because there were no circles available apart of 16:00. I then choose 12:00 because I expected that 10:00 would be the most popular and likely to be sold out during data entry. Overall, it worked smoothly, but the queue position is key and totally random. I had only two devices with 2.9k and 9k. On the 2.9k I waited 30min.
For 5 Times the price, you can also use a professor shopper. They will buy the tickets for you and guarantee you to have them. I went for that option since i have terrible bad luck and am very sensitive to stress lol
I watched your video last week and thought it wouldn’t be so bad…little did I know…I joined the line 2 minutes late and I was placed behind 17,000+ people😅 I had two devices actively trying to grab tickets when my turn came after 45 minutes, but no luck 😭 I’m so bummed I can’t go there next month!!
Got up at 2:45am european time, tried with 3 devices exactly like this, on one i was <5000 in the queue at the start - but once I made it in, every time I tried to choose a time slot, by the time I'd gone through entering my details, it just said 'we are deeply sorry....'. Tried like this with multiple time slots for over 2 hours, until everything had gone and I still had no tickets.
Truly miserable experience. I was 2k something in queue on one PC, 3k something on another. 2k queue comes up and I get all the way to payment and it crashes. Spend the next hour refreshing. Then try the 3k queue pc. Same deal. Now everything is sold out.
I just bought 4 tickets with my family, thanks to your advice! We used 8 devices and in one of them we luckly got the 880th spot! Others varied from 1300 ~ 17000. I had the impression that the 10am tickets went really fast, no matter if it was weekday or weekend. We chose a Sunday, 14pm. Thank you thank you thank yooou 😭 I believe we wouldn't make it without this video!
I believe most of Europe is 7 hours behind Japan, so tickets would drop at 4 in the morning day of. But if you're far west or east in Europe it might be different by an hour.
Dude, I couldn't even buy Disney tickets online for Tokyo and finally gave up. Thanks for warning us about this one; I had no idea it was this hard to get those tickets.
Great advice -- especially about using multiple devices. I bought tickets for May, and started with two, signing on 30 and 29 minutes before the start of ticket sales. Ten minutes later, I also logged in with my phone. The first told me I was 17,000th in line, the second 9,000th. With the last device, I was under 1,000! So it looks like there's no benefit in getting there too early, but using a larger number of devices, as you say, increases the odds.
Bought a ticket for the wrong date by accident. Im devastated. What can I do? I meant to get a ticket fir Sunday 12th at 12 but bought for 5th at 12. 😢
I can't handle the stress so I paid 5 times the price for a professional shopper in Japan to get tickets, was told April is specially tough to get, all sold out!😭
tried to get tickets from the uk in the early hours got on the website 15 mins before they went on sale when i got in the queue there were 22,000 people in the queue! insane!!! needless to say despite staying in the queue until it was my turn (1 hr 15 mins later) i did not get any tickets, i think people in other countries should be given priority to people who live in japan. does the queue actually start before the tickets go on sale 10am japan time, so should i have gone on the website hours before they went on sale ? also once i got to the choosing ticket stage it kept malfunctioning and saying error due to lots of traffic
I underestimated the struggle completely. I'm currently in Japan for about 5 months now and I did try to get a ticket for April but I just messed up completely. I was to late and the queue place was at 24k !! Like wtf. I did not get any tickets. But I will try again next month with your tips in mind. :)
these tips are really helpful, thank you! my friends and i all tried to secure tickets and successfully bought after going through a tough battle! unfortunately, due to the panic, we now have 2 extra tickets for March 22 morning (if anyone is interested it's available for grabs!) good luck to all trying for next months!
Oh my gosh thank you for the tips! I've been a little stressed out about buying tickets but you explained it step by step with helpful tips! I feel at ease knowing what to expect lol thanks!
@@vaniaanindita7015 yup it was that rough. Having been there now i would suggest going on a tour for it. They provide the tickets and if you don't remember everything Ghibli having someone explain what things are would be really cool
Hi! I stayed at the Yokohama Intercontinental Grand last month. In my opinion, it is not convenient to the major destinations in Tokyo (Shibuya, Shinkjuku, the Imperial Palace, etc.) It takes around an hour to get to any of these places, which is a long time. That being said, I did love the hotel, and the view was amazing. If you check Expedia, there are often very good rates for this hotel, as it's huge, and if there isn't a convention next door, they slash the prices to fill the rooms. I got a high floor harbor view room for $140. Also, Yokohama is amazing on its own: the Chinatown neighborhood blew my mind. Also, I highly recommend taking a Limousine Bus from the airport to your hotel, wherever it may be. It is so worth it. Instead of lugging your luggage around a packed train station, or trying to squeeze into a packed subway, the Limousine Bus picks you up right from the airport, and drops you off in front of your hotel. You get to sit down the whole way, and see the city from street level, whereas the metro trains are usually buried underground. It isn't extremely expensive, either: I took a Limousine Bus from Narita all the way to Yokohama, which took 70 minutes and only cost $35. But it was very comfortable. And then I took one from the hotel to Haneda when I left, and it was only around $22. Very worth it! For the rest of my trip, I used public transportation, but for airport commuting, I will always use a Limousine Bus from now on.
Hi I bought the premium ticket but at 2PM. They said that this time only for Grand warehouse site, it means the other park we could enter before 2PM ? thx to clarify.
Yes you are correct, with the premium ticket for Ghibli park you are allowed to enter when the park opens. Only the warehouse has an assigned entry time. So explore the park and be ready to enter the warehouse at 2pm! Have fun!
Thank you for the vid. I got my tickets last week (my queue number was exactly 2016!) And it was an insane experience. Not a single day had the morning slot free at that point! Just to add to your advice, DO NOT USE FOX BROWSER! The site really hates it and it will crash... alot! Safari as well but not as bad as fox. I was using Chrome and it went smoothly. Also for the card, it's advisable to use Master. Japanese websites just hate visa for some reason so it might trigger fraud alerts.
Thank you for the video. Did you succeed finally? I managed to buy tickets for March 2024. I joined the queue 30 mins before start time but was 8000+ in the queue. I used my phone with separate mobile data as back up. When i finally get into the booking page. All were triangles and crosses. I tried all the triangles with no luck, refreshed multiples times and at one time it was ALL crosses. Few minutes later, some preciously fully booked slots became triangles again. I seized the chance. Finally able to buy 2 tickets. My advice: 1. Do not give up even with full page of crosses. 2. Practice makes perfect. I rehearsed and screen cap the process 3 months prior. Even went as far as the credit card 2FA step. 3. If possible, plan your itinerary so you stay in Tokyo a few days, preferably weekdays. This allows more flexibility to choose available slots.
So glad you got tickets, that's great advice! Unfortunately my wife and I haven't been able to go yet, I got stuck on the payment issue and we weren't able to get tickets for the month we were in Japan, we'll be going back though and are optimistic for next time :)
