Something deeper is calling you. It is the call of your heart. - Eli Jaxon-Bear
This is the home of Eli Jaxon-Bear and Leela Foundation. Explore resources, events and teachings. -------- A life long search for freedom took Eli Jaxon-Bear around the world. His search ended when he was drawn to India (1990) where he met his final teacher, Sri H.W.L Poonja, lovingly known as Papaji; a direct disciple of the renowned Indian Sage Ramana Maharshi.
Confirming Eli’s realization, his teacher sent him back into the world to share his unique psychological insights into the nature of egoic suffering in support of self-realization. Now Eli infuses his teaching with his teacher’s living transmission of silence and peace. His life is dedicated to passing on the transmission of his teacher.
Eli founded and currently teaches through The Leela Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to world peace and freedom through universal self-realization, as well as The Leela School.
I really never liked that word "surrender". There is nothing to surrender to. That word can be so misleading. Just RELINQUISH DELUSION. Personal CONSCIOUSNESS is delusional because of compulsive identification with illusion which becomes a state of DUALISTIC consciousness.
"A picture is worth a thousand words." Napoleon. The thumbnail pic of these two guys laughing about the meaning of life tells me all I need to know about where they're at mentally, morally, and spiritually.
this is the ultimate yet many are not ready for it, simply because mind is too gross. that's why sadhanas exist for purification, to make mind crystal clear than it reflects purity of true Self. it is like we are awakened already but the covering has to undergo a process of refinement. Papaji did not get free for many births for this reason. he got it when he exhausted many karmas, got ripe & purified MInd. he was a tireless Krishna devotee till he met Ramana Maharishi who showed him atma vichara or direct path which is a path of Jnana Yoga complementary to all other Yogic branches. So those unfit coming without any foundation directly here will not get it instantly because they lack foundation. do some hatha, karma, bhakti as a process of sadhanas they are all complementary - it all becomes clearer & easier. take your time, do not rush & do not get frustrated if you are not getting there yet)))) enjoy the process, that itself is liberating, dropping the impulsivity of awakening
It is in the yearning, To which we die, This colours the truth, To the reasons why, If this is seen, The eternal truth, The light is brighter, Than that of youth..... KD
... why is it so enjoyable to hear you speak? Partly your speaking is peppered with humor!! It blows my seriousness! And ... 'my' heart loves to meet truth and love and light and to connect.
... and then something pierces and you see through it ... and you feel desillusioned and there is a great pain of loss .... . And for me being a 100% sexual seven fixationing as animal.... this seemed unbearable ... Whatever it took since there was the first eye contact with ELi in 2001 the piercing ' was done ' and there was staying true in the face of everything... Greetings and bowing deep ...
Yes that’s right I’ve discovered this early on, yes it’s been the best thing I’ve ever done freedom was it al the rest of this life I had to leave never looked back Gangaji was one of my early teachers blessedly
I have not watched this video all the way through, but I skipped across it to see fragments and watch the body language of Eli and Gangaji as they sat together during this seminar session. I noticed that most of the time in the fragments that I watched, Eli is leaning slightly toward Gangaji, but Gangaji is leaning slightly away from Eli. Considering the nature and duration of his betrayal of their relationship, I do not blame her. I think she has been more forgiving than many people would or could. I have the utmost respect for her and what she says, but I'm not too interested in what he has to say.
