Reminds my of the overweight guy with all the guns through the house and cars with next to zero training or any daily PT that could not move fast enough to defend himself for a winning lotto ticket....no siding with jeeps but quite clear jeep is the ultimate off road vehicle but means nothing if you have no experience
Sick. I never thought I’d hear someone play stick figure in an off road video but I’m fucking here for it! Also I love hidden falls so I watch a lot of these. Maybe I’ll see you out there in my 3rd gen sometime
That guy in that Tundra suffered because he had no momentum, I have a 24 TRD Pro and I've run it hard so far so good. But!!...you need to learn to use the electronics they work.
Just cause someone can pay to build a jeep on 40s or whatever doesn't mean they know how to work it. I took my jeep on the factory tires with just a leveling kit and skid plates down plenty of trails that folks said you needed at least 35s and few inches of lift. Now ive got 2.5inches of lift and 35s and do trails that they say need 40s. Picking the right lines, the right gear and the right amount of throttle makes a huge difference in overcoming an obstacle. Anyone who drives 4x4s knows a solid axel vehicle will almost always do it better in most cases (mud bogging and desert running an IFS will shine for sure) but the driver mod alway makes the most difference.
Stock 2016 sr5 something special package I don’t recall. Only change was BFG KO2. Goes everywhere I need it to go. Lots of fire foods and desert areas for camping. Just bring traction boards and a shovel, plenty food ,water, a good high end gps with Topo map, compass and a satellite phone.
Jeeps are arguably the much better off road vehicle but Im not offroading all the time and a 4runner is just better on road. Though this is just experience vs ramming your way through lol.
@@goodoljackburton9211 hey if you enjoy rattling your brain driving with highway tire pressure on a corrugated, bumpy dirt road for 50 miles, more power to you. Some of us just prefer comfort
