I love all things crafty. I also like to read! I have a cricut, a silhouette, a sewing machine, I love to crochet and to scrapbook as well. Jewelry making sometimes too! I love buying for all of these hobbies so there will be lots of hauls! Join me as I share my current crafty obsessions.
Nicely done! Am a huge book nerd myself, prefer a paper book to digital. I have a special needs daughter. She is 32 now but functions at about a 2yr old level; we went through many many many books like you have over the years! Just keep repeating, you may be surprised when an articulate word pops out. I also sang "Old McDonald's Farm" at least 50 zillion times but after a while would stop to allow her to make the animal sound. The Farm included elephants, bears, Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, etc - we added more the older she got.
@@HuskyMama1009 He loves music/ singing! I can't usually understand the words of what he's singing but you can tell sometimes by the tune if that makes sense. When we first got him evaluated he was almost 2 years old but speech was at a 2 month old baby level.
@heatherscreativecorner Best of luck and many blessings to you and your family! Music was the best learning tool my daughter responded to, as did many of her peers in school. If your son seems to respond well to it by all means use it! At 2 years old she would listen to all 2.5 hours of Phantom of the Opera, is still one of her favorites. Oh -- lotsa smooches, hugs and tickles!
@@kevneelchand91 sure! I ended up doing the review on one of the cactuses but I do have a video of the raccoon unboxing here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Je7NGtFXVs8.htmlsi=m3WnBz6ZlqPwxSHV and I will share my thoughts on him once he's completed!
I made some designer hooks for myself recently. I used some wooden beads, and plastic beads that I got from Hobby Lobby. The toppers is what I have been having trouble finding. I tried using some buttons (disney characters I got from Wal mart) but they keep coming off easily, even when I hot glue them. But I found these eraser animals from Hobby Lobby, my husband drilled a hole in the bottoms and I glued on. I had to glue each bead in place. I guess now I will start looking for silicone beads. I just saw a video how to make crochet beads. I'm like what? So I will be checking out that video as well.
@@celinamoore2350 I haven't tried anything but silicone beads yet. I was wanting to try drilling a hole in little character toys as toppers but haven't yet.
I bought this today because it is so cute! My first thought was to hang it in the car as well However, I have no idea how to crochet, so I will likely be giving it away instead of making it. I was hoping it would be a good project for a beginner, but as you said, you should only get it if you know what you're doing. I love how yours came out!
Thank you! It did turn out super cute. If you are looking for a good learn to crochet kit for beginners i 1000000% recommend the Woobles. Their kits are how I learned
Awesome haul!! Love those pens! Haha! Also, for the amigurumi sticks the 2.0 size is too small for the beads. I use a piece of electrical type tape to make it work though. I'd try the 3.0 needles. I think those will fit perfectly with the beads you have if you don't want to fight with tape. 😁😁
Don't forget the charger for your neck light!! Just kidding! I hope you have a great trip and that you get some time to be crafty with your hubby!! Enjoy!
great review! It's so interesting to see the perspective of someone who knows what they're doing compared to someone who does not 🤣That blue/green colour is beautiful and makes me want to try finding it.
Yay! Stock up on the potting soil yarn haha! I have like 8-10 skeins of it. Now punch needle....that has piqued me interest...should I take the plunge?
Do it! It was pretty quick and fun although I did stab myself a few times so be careful 😂 I always pick up the tiny kits because large projects overwhelm me especially when trying something new.
You can embroider the eyes until you get safety eyes! These are the ones I like from Amazon www.amazon.com/Safety-Eyes-Amigurumi-Crochet-244Pcs/dp/B09C4TNT6B?ref_=ast_sto_dp
@@heatherscreativecorner I made a pink large Pom Pom and it came out great. I made sure to wrap more yarn because you said to. Will make more for my granddaughter who loves them. 👍
i just got bella and baby too! i thought abought getting the frog but didnt like that it didnt have legs but then after i made the order, i thought why cant i use the leg pattern from bella at lest for the back legs so maybe next time!
Thank you for the idea! It's been so fun picking from it each month! I have so many projects I want to do and am very indecisive ,love that this chooses for me and forces me to do a project I've put on the back burner
@@heatherscreativecorner something about the novelty of it really helps. Plus when you have tons of books it's so hard to pick just one. My brain gets overwhelmed and shuts down. Love that the WIP jar remedies the problem entirely! 😁😁
I just bought the yellow pom pom maker and did not know how to use it! The instructions are not very clear on the back of the package.. lol Thanks so much for your video it really helped me a lot! And your children sound so sweet.. I loved listening to them during your video. As Moms, we must multitask or we wont get anything done. Also, don't re-do this video, its perfect! 😀
Hey heather-! This is a cute lil video haha , and the way you speak is just how i do too , im glad to see im not the only one who st4uggles with speaking normally- als , your voice is super soothing!!
Thank you so much for this video and the links to yarn similar to the Woobles yarn! I love their yarn, so I’ll be ordering some of these to give them a try.
@heatherscreativecorner Trying worsted first since book recommended it as main alternative to Easy Peasy. However, I will probably make another one with thicker yarn afterwards. Small one for traveling; bigger one for home use.
Amazing timing my copy is arriving today and I was wondering about the contents. The wobbles aren’t available in Australia so this is so exciting for me 😂❤
@@heatherscreativecorner id like that too I would also buy a ton of woobles if they where more accessible in Australia or just anywhere outside the US!
I like the alternatives, but they just don't have the same colors that I love in the Wooble limited edition. It's hard to find a pastel rainbow that is actually both pastel and a good rainbow variant.
I agree. I do prefer the woobles pastel rainbow as well. I personally couldn't justify paying 30$ for a kit that I already owned the pattern for and thought others might feel the same. Luckily there was a pattern I didn't have so I did get one.
