Getting close. Over the next few weeks, the water will drop enough to start fishing around the bank. By late November the water should be at or near winter pool level. ✌
The original "Crappie Catching" method! The white curly tail grub was getting it done! All great catches and you got a decent eater as well! Thanks for sharing!
I have the same kayak. If you get on Walmart website they have like a $25 Ozark Trail stadium seat. You can measure a 2x4 cut it down to length and fit it right where those little plastic posts are on the kayak, sit the stadium seat on top.. Raises you up few inches, but doesn't get wet and you can see on the water better.
Thanks for the tip. My concern with the Kayak was how long I would be able to set at that low angle. Over 60 years old now and my back just does not like sitting in the same position for very long. Good Tip 👍
I would love to fish using a Kayak but I would be so nervous about a snake falling out a tree or just jumping into the boat with me and we all going to be in the water along with all my equipment. So thats a nope for me and if i was in a john boat at least I would be standing or sitting up high enough to get away from the son of a gun. What a great deal that to be able to get that beauty for that price. Plus as a plus sized women i need a little more room to move lol Happy fishing
The cloudy screen was a manufacturing defect that was fixed by Nikon under warranty during the original run of the camera. It was bad adhesive under the glass that attaches to the LCD. You might try CAREFULLY heating the glass with a heat gun to soften that adhesive and quickly roll over it with pressure from something like a brayer roller or just leave it as it’s really not visible with the LCD lit up.
I need to get out to my local spots and see if I can catch a few. I've caught a lot of white bass this time of year from the bank with the rooster tail.
New to WB fishing. Do they typically come back to shallower waters in the fall? Caught quite a few here in PA back in May, but the action only lasted till about mid june. They're a blast to catch, just hard to find around here this time of year.
Almost impossible to beat a good curly tail grub, and white is a killer colour. Arguably the best. Good video, thanks for posting. Shout out from Canada!
