The early dance ensemble Saltatriculi (the name means 'dancers', more precisely the diminutive of 'saltatores') has been active in Tartu, Estonia since 2001. The repertoire includes programmes based on choreographies from 15th to 17th century - 15th century high-class dances from the manuscripts of Domenico and Ebreo, 16th-17th century court dances from Caroso and Negri's dance textbooks and bourgeoisie dances by Arbeau's dance descriptions, and 17th-18th century ballroom dances from John Playford's collections. Depending on the programme, four to a dozen dancers will perform.
Täpsustuseks: muusikasse sobitamiseks tuli almaini esimest osa kahekordistada (AABB asemel AAAABB, sest muusika esimene osa oli nii palju pikem). Pavaani teise osa kordust jälle vähendada: olenevalt sellest, kuidas lugeda, on tantsutekstis B osa 2 kuni 4 korda, aga meil on üks, nii et ABB(BB)ABB asemel ABAB.
The interior lights seating spoil this great music plus someone clearing their throat puts a dampner on procedures Lets get it right if we are presenting such delightful music 🎶 🎵

the sources say nothing about the direction in either way. In our group, there are certain dances we always dance in the same direction, but actually the only reason is "we always have danced like that".
@@kullikressa7868 The direction can be assumed on the basis of folk dances, for example, Breton dances. These dances are danced usually counterclockwise. But, of course, historically, the direction could be any.
