I WOULDN'T USE A RED HOOK IF MY LIFE DEPENDED ON IT. THEY ARE ANODIZE NICKEL GET DULL MUCH FASTER THAN STEEL HOOKS. IT OBVIOUS THE REDS DO WORK. MY BUDDY AND I GET ABOUT A HUNDRED WALLEYES OUT OF ERIE EVERY YEAR. NEVER HAVE TO SHARPEN A HOOK!
My guy, as an Erie angler myself, I was definitely rocking with you.......until the stringer.......you don't catch n release bro? It is a stockie but still, somebody else would've been as excited as you were to catch that big trout. That's how I feel about it anyway. Love your vid.
Im not positive but i think you had a white perch. Not a white bass. I hear they want us to keep them not throw them back. That they not supposed to be in there. But im not positive on that either. I was just there the other day. We caught a bunch of white bass
I'd hate to steer you in the wrong part of French. There are many places to access French around the Cambridge springs and saegertown area. Both produce walleyes. You've inspired me to go navigate French now. I may try getting out this week so as long as the rain holds off. I may post a video, fish or not.
@rockinrod yesterday I tried down from the bridge in Cambridge about a mile at the other bridge and upstream at the access road and came up empty lol. Then I hit bulls dam after and had pretty good luck.
How does that boat still float with your giant balls weighing it down?! No way I would be out there in that, but glad that you are! Nice Fish! Hope to see more fishing videos!
Honestly probably not. The main creek is only a foot deep right now. It's still deep between the walls, but you have to get in there when no one's down there.
What a blessed day of fishing! I've never had a day like that and my pb is 22.5 outta Woodcock...w many great says on the Allegheny near Oil City. You're hitting the spawn. It's interesting to me because that water has to be 52* all year and they normally go at 65*? They must adapt?! Can I ask what you were using? Thx!
Thanks for your concern. I try my best to steer them in the right direction and play camera man at the same time. The small mouth Bass are absolutely ferocious, so they take off in any direction including the rocks. Thanks for watching ! Don't forget to subscribe !
Great haul! Do the crappie spawn in colder waters than normal in PI? I was whacking them in March at Misery? Are there still crappie in the marina or has it shut down
As early as ice out, but we only had two weeks of ice on the marina. That was back in December. I'm sure theirs probably some more in there. The piers close May 1st
