When i launch the game, right after doing the second method, it asks for a code. "Insert your register code here" "Type the register code, that can be found in your confirmation email, in the manual/box of the product or the game card."
I have a question. I always felt that some ai cars are different. Like the wheels, when they drift they doesn’t show smoke and also they have no damage and the windows are like completely non transparent. Also the noise they make it’s a little less low if you know what I’m trying to say. As a kid that beat this game with no memory card and not speaking English at the time, that shit always bothered me. Like even the Jersey xs is a little different, and the only way we had cars like ai cars would be playing split screen. Do you know if there’s a mod that make us look like the ai cars? I hope you understand my ocd lmao

Hi, yes, it's a recently created tool that allows you to extensively modify MC2, largely based on Midtown Madness 2's hook. Since the 2 games are similar (engine-wise), luckily the creator (dummiesman) didn't have so much trouble with creating mc2hook. This game has kinda had a massive breakthrough, modding wise this year because of mc2hook.
@@Hazzerooni Yeah because I downloaded it and clicked on the readme file and it said I had to put all these files from the zipped MC2hook folder into my MC2 folder and nothing worked.
why is it when i install this mod and set the resolution on 1440p it looks worse than 1080p i dont remember this game looking so horrible shadows look like minecraft shadows
Hi, I've got no idea. I'm not sure if the game was developed for higher resolutions than 1080p at the time. Considering how the game was rushed, maybe better support for higher resolutions was planned. I play on 1080p so I don't have any issues out of the ordinary. All I can suggest, is turning the shadows to Medium (High is broken), and maybe limiting framerate to 60
Make sure your Documents is easily accessible, as this is where the game saves the save data. (Documents/NFS Undercover). Maybe mess around with the security permissions, and allow your user to write/read to it. Also, if you haven't already, run the game in Administrator mode

@@Hazzerooni Mostly, I'm not getting used to the EA Trax™ during the free roam, but I played the original soundtracks in this game while in the races, pursuits and customization.
This is cool AF. Also, you're bloody maniacal to race in Tokyo and then think "Hmm, you know what this place could do with... even more traffic!" 🙃😆😅 4 Laps is a bit excessive where repetition is concerned.

I will always respect someone who doesnt use the viper or corvette to make it noticeably harder, even tho the viper is my favorite car from this game, also quick question which is better subaru or lancer?
@@kucuaf yeah maybe the better question would be skyline or supra vs subaru since the lancer is the best tuner car in carbon based on acceleration plus the handling, acceleration mainly just because all the tuners had great handling yet some had poor acceleration
For my opinion, as much as I love Subaru's, the Lancer is better in this game. The acceleration (where tuners are concerned) is decent, and the handling is out of this world (in a good way). As for your other question, I'd say the Skyline is better vs the Supra or Subaru
@@Hazzerooni i feel your pain the subaru didnt shine like it supposed to in performance in both games mw and carbon and its my favorite tuner of all time, im glad you can do some sick runs with it in nfs world (soapbox race world) with it hopefully we will get at least an overpowered subaru in the next nfs but either way nice drving skils and car choices 💯💯💯 i will subscribe

@@Hazzerooni Well I know for a fact you can maybe try dodge charger rt tier 2 beats every car in the game if you tune engine and transmission to horsepower and top speed and for the suspension to full oversteering on the left and leave tires and brakes in the middle tune nitro to full velocity and for engine at higher rpm you'll be surprised it beats every ai car on straight line lol you can slip stream hard turns too like an exotic and tuner if you use engine brake and clutch.

Hey, not too bad thanks. Yes, you can indeed increase the top speed of cars and change how they handle. The files you're looking for are in assets_p/tune/vehicle. All the files with 'vp' at the start are cars that you can drive. The files use their real-life names instead of in game (example: Its not vp_veloci, it is vp_saleen). Open any of these files with Notepad or preferred software, and you will see values you can change! To change top speeds, open a car file with the extension '.vehcarsim'. Here you can change the top speed, horsepower, weight and more. (Image for example, imgbox.com/fXOUdJay )

Hi all! Some of you have mentioned that this method isn’t working for you. I have 1 more method to try. This other method worked for my old PC to get the game running, but not on my new PC. Only the method showed in this video worked for my new PC, so give this other one a try if this video doesn’t help! 1. Download the archive from hazzerooni.link/nfsucfix2 2. Drag the files from the ‘content’ folder in the archive, and drop & replace them in the NFS Undercover game install directory. 3. Follow along the rest of the video (Installing Generic Fix). You are essentially skipping the first step of this video and replacing/adding different files from the link above instead. Follow the same steps from the description (Running as an admin, enabling no more than 2 cores for the exe) and it SHOULD work if the method in this video didn’t! These are the only 2 methods I have. If it still doesn’t work, then I am not sure how else to help, sorry!
windows 11 here. Crashing right after cant connect to EA Nation. Game loads fine but is unplayable at the moment. please help. miss playing this game and I just re-bought it and now it wont work
Hey there, press backspace when the ‘connecting to EA Nation screen’ comes up to bypass it, as waiting for it to load will have unpredictable effects (crash, etc). If this still doesn’t work, check out my newly pinned comment :)
I'm playing with howhardcanitbe9 and Japan cops do use other behaviors in races, I think they use ram, they messed up some races for me already, try it out later
