Hi! I'm so glad you are here and I have tons of videos to show how to scrapbook, how to document your family's memories in project life, how to use stamps and how to document your books you read. I post videos every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I love sharing my process videos all about scrapbooking, stamping, book journals and project life.
So far this is my favorite book of 2024! I love it so much, for many of the same reasons you stated. I love how you said this should be required reading! Amen to that girl!
Yes! This book is definitely in my top 5 for the year and in my favorites for lifetime. I can’t say enough good things about it. So glad you agree with me on required reading. ❤️📖
Hello. I read Britneys book. I'm not a big fan of hers but I'm so glad I read it bc now I have a bigger understanding of what she has gone through. Have you read Parris Hiltons memoir?? Another good one!
Hi Karen! Absolutely agree on Britneys memoir and having a better understanding of what she went through. No I haven’t read Paris Hiltons memoir but I will add it to my TBR. Thank you for the suggestion. ❤️
I really appreciate you being real about what you HAVEN'T done. Sometimes I watch RU-vidrs who seem so together and "caught up," and it just makes me feel like that can only happen if it's your "job" and I wonder how "real" people are keeping up. Thanks for being transparent about not always finishing everything you start. It motivates me to just keep moving forward and doing what I can.
Thank you so much Amy for your kinds words. I truly appreciate it especially since I do strive to be honest and authentic with my projects and my creative process. I can imagine that it is frustrating to watch RU-vidrs and it comes across that they are all caught up. I’m definitely never caught up and don’t really want to be. lol! I always want to have a project or five to be working even if I don’t finish them. Thank you again for kind words! 🥰
I keep going back and forth about how to sort my embellishments. I currently have them by material and shape but keep thinking I want to do it by color. The Stash class has been so helpful!
Hi! Sorting embellishments is definitely tricky, but I’ve found color has always worked for me. When I’m creating I usually work within a color scheme instead say by shape but that’s just me. Also couldn’t agree more on how helpful the Stash class has been. 🥰
Love this years journal! For my journal this year I have a Passion Planner notebook and tore out every other page. I left 1/4 inch (or a smidge more) and then glued it down with adhesive (I'm doing that part as I go). That way the binding is not ruined. Since you're doing that at the end you probably wouldn't need to glue the page remnant down. Oh, I used a ruler as a straight edge and tore the pages. It was a little tricky till I got the feel for it but was actually easier than I expected.
Thank you so much Susan for the love on my reading journal! Sounds like you have a good plan for tearing out every other page for your journal. For this Clever Fox journal that could work, but then I would have renumber the pages. Hmm. I’ll have to think of my plan for the next journal which will cover July through the rest of the year. ❤️📚
Hi Sabrina! I love the class too! I got sidetracked by vacation, but getting ready to get back into it. I am working on various piles and at the end of that I will start breaking down my story kits, which is scary! I have a lot of kits that I have made projects with and left them together so I will start there! You are making lots of progress and should be proud of yourself! Thank you for sharing and giving me a boost!
Hi Jackie! How’s your progress going with the Stash class? I’ve also been getting sidetracked by vacation and family adventures too. 😄 The best reason to get sidetracked right? And yes taking apart the story kits is scary but worth it if we have “finished” making projects. Thank you so much for the love on my progress! Thrilled you enjoyed my video and I appreciate the compliment on giving you a boost. 🥰😘
I love seeing all of your owls and I love seeing all of your piles. I was afraid I was the only one who had things without a home and struggling to figure out where things should go :)
Thank you so much for enjoying my video and my piles! Lol, being messy is just part of the process, right? Oh owls are just my favorite! I love them! You are definitely not the only one struggling to find the right home for your things. I'm right there with you. 🥰
Thank you so much for enjoying my video! Love that you organize by color too. Also, having those main shape drawers should be so helpful. I appreciate you watching! ❤️
I just love your space and the videos you have made behind the scenes! I am taking the class and have 2 main struggles. First, organizing my printables is a bit chaotic. I organize by theme and can’t seem to figure out how to best contain all my stuff. I started by using folders, then progressed to the accordion file and then tried the 5x 7 case. Now I am back to a combination of the 5x7 cases and file folders. I can’t wait to see what you do with your printables. I may just shelf my work until I see what you decide. LOL. My other challenge is the fact that I scrap with products from many different manufacturers. I am just not sure how I roll all that stuff into my Ali Edwards supplies (or do I?) Do I take apart every embellishment package and distribute the product into containers by theme or do I keep them with their original collection & manufacturer? Anyhow, I really appreciated this video. Thanks. Also, on the trays at the end of the video, what is in them? Products to make specific pages? I’d be interested to learn more about them!
Thank you so so much Jackie! I’m thrilled you enjoyed my different ideas for journaling. And did you see you won the sticker giveaway?? 🥰 I just need your address and you send it to my email or on IG. Thank you!
Hi! I don’t think there is much bleed thru. Maybe some shadowing but not much. This was one thing that kept me from trying a Hobonichi, but now I don’t mind the shadowing at all. Hope that helps and I’ll talk more about bleed thru and shadowing in my July walk thru. 🥰
Thank you so much Stephanie! Thrilled you enjoy my reading updates. 🥰 Yes The Women was just incredible. I haven’t heard of Shark Heart, but I’m going to look it up. 📚
I love this! Congratulations to your son! I am taking the stash class too, and I also decided to start breaking down my story kits and it’s a little scary. I think it will feel good and I will get more stories told! I will be cheering you on!
Hey Jackie! Thank you for the congratulations to my son. He's growing up so quickly and now has his first job! Mixed emotions on that. Also, right there with you on breaking up story kits being scary. We've got this though as we become the bosses of our stashes! 🎉🥰
Oh Jessa! Your comment made me tear up a little because that's so true. I was just enjoying being present and my son's big accomplishment. Thank you for the wonderful comment! ❤️
I love your butterflies! I read the Four Winds in May, I will probably be reading The Women soon. Also really enjoyed Summer at the Saint by Mary Kay Andrew’s. It was a good summer read! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much Jackie for all the love you give on my videos! I truly appreciate every comment even if it takes me awhile to respond. Butterflies are so fun and the perfect choice for spring. Its my go-to embellishment! I haven't read Summer at the Saint, so I'll need to look that up. I did read The Homewreckers last summer and loved it. 📚❤️
I don't need any stickers because I have way too many, but I did have a question about the reusable sticker book. Do you use the stickers that you put in that book or is it just like a sticker "museum"? Or is it a place to put the leftovers from a sticker sheet? I've seen lots of people using them (and selling them) and have always wondered what the point of the book is and also if I need to buy one. 🤣
Hi!! I love how you phrased the sticker book as a sticker museum. 😆 I suppose it can become like a sticker museum, but I use it to add stickers from leftover sheets and organize sticker sheets by color. I can also use the pages to make themed pages like spring. Another use is planning out a “kit” to use on the reusable pages. So I find them super helpful!! 🥰
Coming from your Instagram post. Love that you showed the organization. I actually really like the idea of the photo binders as sticker organizer. Would love to be considered for the giveaway 😍 they would be perfect for my new EE mini book that is all about my hobbies (reading, crafting and dance). ❤️
Hi! Thank you so much for checking out my sticker organization. And yes those photo binders are so handy for organizing little sticker sheets. Love the EECo book that you have going for your hobbies!! 🥰🥰
