Ha! New problem... After watching your video, I turned the knob just to try it... Now it opens, but when I close it, the motor doesn't stop turning and it makes a "gear stripping" noise! What's happening? 😬
stripped gears are a very common problem - I mention getting metal ones in the video - you'll need to take each motor apart and fit new gears - well worth it - Cheers and let me know what you find!
Thank you for your highly visual and descriptive video , like all your videos. You solved my issue wth my 03 Vette, had very same problem and same side. All your videos are excellent, keep making new ounce. Thanks again
Lexus has a fob disable feature…press & hold the lock button and press unlock twice. The light will flash. Press any key fob button again to resume normal wireless entry.
UM -YoYo - left and right sides of the car are determined by sitting behind the steering wheel - sooooo - the battery is on the left side of the car like stated in the video
@@carquestions said hold lock and push unlock twice. It shuts the keyfob off and the constant sending stops. To turn key back on just press any button on the keyfob. Iv tried it and it really does work.
@@carquestions i like this way better cause i like the passive option. I use the hold lock push unlock if my car is outside in a parking lot. But i dont use it when its in my garage. I also use it at stores ext. once im leaving i click a button on the remote to turn it back on and by the time i get to my car with my hands full passive already works again. Its a nice trick that wont permanently disable passive when you still want it.
WOW! That was the best problem solving I’ve ever seen…..WOW! I’m having throat issur with my 2018 GMC Sierra Denali 3500! I’d love to just buy that piece you found to be the issue! Do they sell that separately? What is the proper name for it so I can order it or buy to fix my truck! Thank you sir! Sarge
Ivan - get trouble codes and check wiring and connectors before you buy any parts - might save time and money and are often the cause - check wiring very closely - let me know what happens - Cheers from Canada!
The code i got showed it is a clogged DPF on my 2018 GMC 3500 HD, uggh! I did as you said and checked all The wiring to the throttle body but after connecting a scanner its “Soot accumulation” in my Diesel Particulate Filter! Gonna try a spray DPG cleaner into the DPF and see if that works, if not to the shop, uuuggh!
Im going to try this. I changed the control arms and had to take one brakes side off and when i put it all back i started hearing this sound when i would first push the gas when driving.
How can this not be a safety recall. Cutting power or loosing power all together. Just imagine your trying to pull out and oh no power to move. Blam you get teboned or slammed from behind. Not good Chevy make a better product!
yes - a tight belt and good pulleys need to be checked first - but if the squeal comes back soon after this is the reason - so let me know in 2 months if the noise comes back and don't spend anymore money on parts!
THANK YOU, the Mirrors stopped tilting when backing up. I'd just replaced the battery, so thought it was a memory thing. I have a Set for the Seats I had to Re-Set, as well after changing the Battery, along in the Screen one has to wait to set up the other settings. Thank You, Again.
Does not work on two-stage sensor, F22/F30 chassis. What is the solution on F22? New sensor x2 doesn’t work. Short method doesn’t work. Cannot reset CBS pad thickness either.
Yes, quite right - the indicator is actually redundant - you check easily the condition of pads as you change tyres, typically twice a year. Cheers from Finland! Thank you.
Got a new battery and had these problems the moment I drove away. Fluttering noise then it started to shake. Next drive it stalled ... not every drive but felt like it would. I did everything you said .... 4 days ago .... instant fix ... I even waited and did a few test drives. Thank you so very much 🥲🤗 was about to book it into the mechanics. I am one very grateful woman.👍
wouldnt look at mine unless I paid a diagnostic fee.i showed the coil spring pieces I picked up on my garage floor.didnt matter.bought springs on ebay cheaper than the fee.did it myself.not a loyal Subaru customer any longer....
We have a 08 ford Taurus and it’s making a awful noise while driving down the road and when you step on the brake it makes a clink noise but when abs ligjt comes one everything stops making noise any idea? I’ve had so many people look at it no one can figure it out.
