Emu is tapped from Palm Tree. It is a natural Heavenly Wine. People climb the Palm Tree in Nigeria for it. No Tree is squeezed to tab Palm Wine. Love from DC. ------ Osollo.
Cloudy, yellow in color and white, abundant foam. Sweet tropical fruits with mango and passion fruit at the forefront, pineapple, peaches and apricots in the background. Grapefruits, pomelon, some grass. Low carbonation, moderate bitterness. Not very exciting.
Sad news, I remember watching a video of Zippy cleaning demijohns, I was about to throw mine out and I realised I could clean the bloody things. Cheers Mate and RIP Zippy.
I've seen this somewhere and it has definitely caught my eye. Since coming back to beer reviewing all I reminisce about are the good old UK ales. I appreciate all the new styles and brewing methods but you can't beat a good old pint. Yep I'm officially an old man.
I've had their 'Nelson's Bitter' and I've got a review from the other day of 'Nog', scheduled for next week. I loved both and this sounds great as well 😋 Cheers 🍻
He was a very interesting man with either a great deal of interesting experiences or imagination. Either way, was kind and generous with his brews and his time. All the best Jona, and rest in peace Zippy. 🥺
Yes, the shed is down in the garden. When are you going to brew some beer there in the shed that we can see here on RU-vid? I've been following you for a few years now so I know what you can do
I'm glad this was a good one for you mate. I've always remembered Black Isle as being a pretty consistent brewery so I was a bit let down by the stout. I've just seen you did a Brewgooder stout so I'm gonna watch that now. Cheers.
I've got a can of this chilling as I write this mate. Very excited to try it now. Sorry to hear about your health struggles, mine was strokes but we're both still here drinking great beer (mostly) cheers!
