I don’t think I’ve ever seen one of those before Dave, it looks like a beast. Thanks for sharing and hope you have a blessed day and week ahead my friend.
G day Dave Boy IH 454 , & MF 165 real good looking While listening to him talk, I thought ferguson & war It must have been pretty rough, food, everything? Boy MF 135 yellow nice At 14-49 truck with 1 front driving wheel, I had dinky toy of that So Porsche got #1? Thanks
Hi Don, Yes so many fantastic machines at this show, it was the first time I`d been here. Yes the war years must have been real tough, good job the US was there to help. best regards matey. Dave
G day Dave Interesting watch. But that machine with tractor at each side of field, back then that would have been very costly I think, the horses looked a lot cheaper than that! At 11-05 DB 996 looked like it had turbo on?? At 13-14 Fordson with 6cyl in ? At 14-40 green fordson major, I bet tractor feels sad, being wrong color, boy 2 of them Ths
We had one from 1978 until aprox 1990. 7000 hours without any breakdown except for a broken liftarm and several crushed windscreens caused by a Fahr KM 25 mower
Hi Don, I`m not sure they were faster, these were used at ports or airfields, just for pulling things around. hope all is well with you, all the best matey
Best sounding tractor bar none, and fastest on the road, they were made in Welspool,Perth Australia,JD bought them out.Two MF 35 diesels in one 6 cylinder motor.
G day Dave The only thing different to me was 3 pt had extra lift, is that the Pre-force? Thanks Were the 5000 real popular in England, after fordson major?
Hi Don I think its the pre-force. the 5000 in fact all 1000 series were very popular in England. at the time Ford had a loyal following as well as a great product. all the best matey. Dave
It's not 30 HP, it's a snidge over 40 HP. It's a 6 1/2 inch over 9 inch stroke in a 4894cc displacement. Sorry mate but you're wrong. Wrong type of tractor you've referred to. You're thinking of the earliest model...
Two guys with no idea how to start a Fordson! I can say this as I’ve been there and done this too. It must look hilarious to any on the old guys still around, that actually know the correct way start one.
Ciao Dave, bello il video ed il cingolato Fiat. Questo cigolio dei cingoli ed il sound del motore, mi riportato con i ricordi a quando ero bambino, a casa mia veniva un 70C ad arare, il modello precedente a questo del video. 🚜💪👍👍
@@IncredibleClassicTractors the 4 cylinder petrol and diesel were 34hp the 3 cylinder Perkins engines were 42hp, then the direct injected 3 cylinder Perkins in the 135 was 46hp and the one in the 148 was 49hp, different injector pump or something. Thankyou for sharing though, I love seeing these old tractors bought back to new.
