You really nailed that last run! It was awesome watching you extract everything out of that car and I learned a ton co-driving it. Thanks so much for giving me that experience!
Yeah! Alex hopped right in and drove well. Got acquainted to my S2000 real quick. He brought his own stock S2000 and both cars drove so differently. Alex’s stock S2000 is super sensitive to inputs and rotated the rears so easily.
@@happyhills_garage I think 3rd gear was a good idea considering the car hit 60mph-ish towards the end of the slalom. 2nd gear max out around 54mph. It gets tricky sometimes in sections like this considering if I stay in 2nd I might have a better corner entry (less things to worry about on corner entry as compared with 3rd).
@@Khoanigsegg ahhh yeah, i know about the short gearing shenanigans lol. 54 is much lower than my top of second, but I totally understand why you would want 3rd there now
Yeah I agree if you haven't driven the course, the video makes it even worse. In car footage is a bit hard to look ahead where the driver is heading to.
Depends on course and the element, sometimes it’s better for me to stay in 2nd rather than shifting into 3rd and then having to go back down to 2nd again. Thanks!
