This channel is all about aquarium shrimps. I have a small shrimp room where I keep mostly Caridina shrimps. I like to make video of my shrimps and upload them on RU-vid This is my second channel and I normally upload quick updates here what's going on in my shrimp room. Please visit my main channel for more quality content!
the silent pump is amazing I'm not denying that, but it is pointless if the filter make more noise than the pump, What the market need now is silent sponge filter, I have a 16 watt air pump, its not the quitest but I dont mind because the bubble from my UGF is louder than the pump itself, so quieter pump is pointless
100 million % recomend this guy ..perfect transactions via ebay i just brought my first 2 boxes and powders truely spot on and the producys are spot on
Your UGF water flow is much stronger than mine..Im setting up a new tank and the water flow out of the top is really low any idea whay I am doing wrong?
It could be a few reasons - the airstone is clogged or maybe the soil has a lot of waste or your air pump is not strong enough. It's important to keep your ugf free of sponges or filter floss they will clog very fast and block your water flow
@@shrimpmaniadaily MIne are kinda low flow too...I use two of the same airpumps you have and mine are brand new...but i see your airstones or plastic are those air stone?
If ista greve filter comes with this brush, why don't you put it in when you sell the ugf box? I bought 2 boxes of ugf from you but they were without the brush. Thanks for the video, it's very helpful. Can you tell me if it is possible to plant several stem plants in the ugf box or will it interfere with the flow?
Hi what are your thoughts about h2o2 oxygen method in caradina shrimp tank ? Do you think its necessary or what is done to compensate it ? Looking forward for your professional tip
Can I cycle my shrimp tanks with just sl magic powder, and if so how often do i add the power and do i need to ghost feed with fish flakes? and also it ok to put java moss and catappa leaf in while it cycles
You can use any powder you like whatever works for you. Ghost feeding is optional. Bacterial powder should be enough for ammonia to be present. Its ok to put plants anytime you want
@@shrimpmaniadaily thank you it just shrimp keeping is new to me, I put the magic powder on the fluval gravel when I set them at the weekend, how often do you add the powder and when should I do water changes, I tested my water Sunday and my pH was 6.0 ammonia 0.25 no2 0.25 no3 5.0 and kh 2 gh 6 does that sound ok? I set them up on the 5th of this month
Hi if without changing any 10percent of the water but I did every top up distilled water with zero tds can I sprinkle abit the Tai Sheng bacteria powder into the shrimp tank .
Hi👋 lovely shrimp there!!! What are the black blue with a lot of wight body with a bit of blach on the bottom called?? At 3:49 min... Ther are stunning ❤
Great work, I love a ugf, there are so many different ways to utilise them, media, sponge soils etc, I agree with your surface area and clogging thoughts, I wonder if the soil lasts longer with the flow spread out therefore faster flow or condensed, taller, therefore slower flow? I love your new products and will try out in my shrimp room. I’m always up for trying new thoughts and techniques, keep it up shrimp brother👌
Thank you man. I noticed that the faster the flow, the faster the soil runs out of juice, so it's better to have a slow/medium flow to extend the soil life.
I know in growing that coconut husk binds calcium. I always add a small shell to dissolve some calcium into the water thinking it might help but not sure?
I'm cycling a caridina tank. However, same as one of your tank before the water turns green and no algae is building up. I put bacter ae occationally. Should i reset it?
You should make a UGF to look like a Billiards table or a Snooker table once that algae grows it would be just too perfect. Some black Co2 tubing cut to make the pockets. 🎱🏓🥇🦐
Just found your channel but have binge watched a lot of your previous content 👍 I have a blue neocaridina which I suspect is blind, it seems to circle the food. Also is there a test I can buy for metals in the water? I am on well water which comes through acidic granite, it's perfect pH but I wonder what level of metals are in the water. Thanks
@@shrimpmaniadaily thanks, I'm just doing for fun but I've kept caridina and neocaridina for 18 months in the same water from the well and they look like they're thriving. All 6 female it turns out. Just been out this morning to buy more😁
Man i love you're content And hate it there about to eat Them ok fine no one is Perfect to the extent no You're joking Sir yes they Are 😮 don't eat them guys! Cant we have pets anymore!
Whats all that Black like spots On the bases of each fish pool Is that would that be cancer? They should clean it regularly As algea bacteria builds up After some time is it melonoma or black head Skin lessions ?? Great video Sir Boss
Great video , i have a question . I have blue Bolt shrimp and I have a few buried , but i just have a few babies. Im note sure why it seems so less as there is like 4 buried females there should have a ton more. my temps is 24/23 degress , ph 6.2 TDS 150
babyes can die easyer than adults. In very first weeks thy need biofilm and algae to surviv. Make sure your tank is well establish with planty of that yammy stuff
