If the artist is trying to hide that there is a backtrack then it's lipsinc. All kpop performers use backtrack to sing over it while doing a choreography. It's not a secret. Just watch any inkigayo performance. Lady gaga uses backtrack because she also does choreography, while adele doesn't use backtrack cause she doesn't dance.
