Love that all members of the Big Push are allowed to shine at different times and that you’re reflecting that in your reactions - not just focussing on songs where Ren sings…..💜
Find me an animal in nature that’s LGBTQ++++ whatever, and I’ll join the gai-nbow flag movement….but it’s not natural, it’s not a thing in nature. Two female turtles don’t “scissor fight” and then adopt a frog…. tell me I’m wrong…
Surprised an ex-gf hasn't exposed u to this song, it's in soooo many movies. 😄 The recording of this feels like camera mic, not into the zoom in this one I'm guessing. Romains voice is unique and suits this song, that's how they pick who will sing.
Love Romain and The Big Push. I would say that this probably isn’t their best performance. Only because I think the sound is a bit off. I’d recommend checking out their mashup of: Wade in the Water/Nina Simone/Trouble So Hard. In that video, each band member gets an opportunity to shine. It’s one of my favorites by them. Ok, cheers!
You guys friggin' rock! As I've mentioned before, your synergy is unmatched. I believe this along with the "twin sense" is what makes your work stand out. Remember... it's when you're doing great things that the jealies try to break you down. And you are doing great things. I joined you on your milk crate, fist in the air when you stood up and fought back. I'm here for the ride. Thanks J & T, The Dynasty! 💛🤘🤙✌️
This is only the second reaction I have watched from the straw hats. I subscribed after the first. You guys break down bars and understand the technical parts of music. I love it. Plus your fun to watch! Ren I believe will go.down as ome.of.the beat from his Generation.
Thank you my friend, glad to have you part of the Crew 💪. If you’re interested, check out some of our original music videos and songs !! Joy Division -> Underrated. For a twist, that fits, check out New Order's "Blue Monday". Pretty much the first popular "EDM" song....1980, and still sounds 'fresh'. By the band that <was> Joy Division after Ian Curtis passed.
It is 80s it was recorded in 1980, although the original band Joy Division were mainly a late 70's band this was the biggest hit released just 2 months after the bands lead singer and song writer Ian Curtis took his own life. Just weeks before, they were to embark on a US tour. He suffered from epilepsy and the illness got worse from the exhaustion of performing regular concertes and his medication made him drowsy so he struggled to perform on the medication, one theory is that a combination of his marriage breakdown and the stress his illness and profession were drove him to that finality. The band decided to carry on but in respect to Ian changed their name to New Order and had a lot of UK hits in the 80's the biggest being Blue Monday. It's a great cover as always by The Big Push
@daratheresa thanks, Joy Division/New Order are my favourite band and usually I'm not keen on covess of their songs, bit The Big Push nailed it, and the odd one as much as I'm not keen on Moby I also like his version of New Dawn Fades.
Joy Division were a band from Manchester UK in the late 1970s. After their singer, Ian Curtis, killed himself in 1980 the rest of the band reformed as New Order, who may be a little better known in America than Joy Division.
The subject of abortion is not touchy. "My Body" is absurd. A human has one heart. If you can detect more than one than other human bodies come with them.
“Shot at her Feat” Meg actually got shot in the foot for real. So 1.referencing that(actual feet) 2. Feat as in Feature 3. Feat as in a major Feat (accomplishment) 4. The sexual innuendo It’s crazy !!
I don’t know why people can’t be positive in the comments. If you have an observation- make it, but do it without making a thing out of it and insulting others, especially the content creators who take time and effort to make the video you’re watching. I personally like both versions equally genuinely. Two different vibes to the same song. I mean, I think that’s one of the reasons I love him so much, because of how versatile he is. Thanks guys. Great reaction as always.
People always comment that tom "reapeats himself" in his songs a lot like it's a big problem. So does every mainstream rapper in the game, but nobody cares that their songs all sound the same. Tom repeats himself a couple times to drive a point home, and suddenly, it's a big issue. I just dont get it.
Dude, I had that same Six Flags shirt!!! This is a serious song that I deeply respect and I don't want to make light of it in any way. I respect the way Ren uses his loss to inspire others. I also like that shirt, on a completely different wavelength. This isn't a troll; both things can be true.
So sorry you have had haters and gatekeepers. They're not true Ren fans, as they obviously haven't learnt anything from listening to him! Keep doing what you're doing. ❤
Many of us got into Tom because of his songs on politics and social issues, but you need yo check out his other materia, the not so political stuff. Songs like My Fans, Castles, Sober, Bad News, Best Rapper Ever, I Don't Care, No Response, Church, The Music Industry, his diss beef with Mac Lethal... Tom is very versatile and never lets us down. I got into him when he released Fake Woke, but my favorite songs are his songs about topics like addiction and general life. Although i will say Politically Incorrect is fucking awesome!!!!
I actually thought the section where you were responding about the dickheads was very entertaining. I'm also surprised and saddened that you encountered that kind of commentary.
11:14 I think you guys are spot on. The line can be taken as a double. Of course you are going to think of it as a gun, and it also makes sense... But it can be taken as a knife too, being from the UK that's more easily accessible.
