You are another armchair color analyst parading yourself on YT with the wrong colors for your face! Now why is that? You have an orange-y complexion, with 70s cornflower blue makeup 🤮and spaghetti-sauce shade of blush and a clashing candy pink lipstick. WHAT do you pretend to teach us about colors when you can't do your own?? 🤔
4:21 it would really suck to have blue eyes be destroyed by that hideous yellow ring. UGH!! Blue eyes have always creeped me out. I think they're indicator of no soul bodies, esp. those w/yellow & brown rings. UGH!!!
Like what the hell?? Jenn Vaxx?? That's literally what you said & what the CC gives. What gives?? Jane Thoden says your profile, so why are you promoting the nonsense ho a x??!!
I have blue-gray eyes, light skin that looks a bit pinkish, freckles, and gray hair that seems to have a yellowish cast to it. I had reddish-brown hair when I was younger. I do not look good in pastels or soft colors-I wear mostly black because it is a safe color. I've never been able to find a lipstick that looks good on me, so I have pale lips-everyone always told me, "You should wear lipstick."
04:18 yes!!! Thank you. Finally someone noticed! I look horrible in anything "dusty" or pastel...they make me look sick and dull and of course I avoid beige, mustards, browns, oranges and warm greens... That's why I can't find any "NEUTRALS" for me and nothing "autumn" to wear! I stick to white, cherry-red like blue-toned reds and not too bright nor too dark, fucschia (like my prof pic), black, icy pink/purple/lemon yellow and royal blue. That's it :((( very limited palette.
I have the same colors except I have dark brown brows that make a major difference. I can't decide if I should keep coloring my hair or go gray because most of it is gray now.

My son is a bright winter. He has dark brown eyes, dark brown hair, and bright light skin. His contrast is very high, there is nothing soften by autumn in his coloring. I think it more so depends on your brightness. His humongous eyes have a lot of contrast because his pupils are so dark but the whites of his eyes ( being so visible ) create another element of high contrast. His is not completely cool and cool winter colors actually seem pretty blah like they are missing something ( brightness ) and can’t really handle too many of the dark winter colors without looking a bit drained ( they are too dark ) that said he can wear Bright Spring colors pretty well which confirms his Bright Winter type. Hopefully that helps someone.
You put out there a silence sign Olive skin Asian girl picture are you meming the Asian comunity...Chinaaa,fake Chinaaaa. You funny and clever but still...colors pallets and all this trends dosen't do anything for a petson and is very fake too..Just saying.
I don't understand what you mean? Meming the asian community? Why in the world would I do that? You don't have to agree with color analysis. That's ok, but if you aren't interested then why are you watching these videos?
And If I have cool skin tone, but my hair are divided in 2 color( natural) dark brown on top roots and light brown on the bottom ( light bronze) And brown eyes with touches of green Lips are rosie light but sometimes more dark ( it changes )
Very helpful. I feel like from all the research I have done. For my skin type (yellow/olive) but truly a cool tone. It is not all black and white as with other people. I HAVE to wear warm/neutral undertone, I def cannot wear cool makeup. But I look better in cool tones. Not textbook, but it is what it is
I love pinks, blues, reds, orange and have learned to love back and use colors for accessories. I’m a silver gray, almost white in the front and darker as you move to the back of my head, light skin and hazel eyes. Dark brown. I feel lost on what colors look good on me. I used to know when I was dying my hair blond but now I am definitely a light
You would not be light. You have darker hair and hazel eyes. So, although technically you would be light, I would put you in medium. You should truly consider a color analysis with us. This is what we do and we can help you get your color palette. yourcolorstyle.com/pages/online-color-analysis
Hi! I was just in your other video about olive skin and watching this was very validating. It also reinforces my view that even if it is not a “scientific” undertone. People in mainstream need to be made aware and become familiar with this “undertone” it could help immensely in identifying people who are specifically olive cool like myself. Thanks so much for the video.
It has been such a journey for me. I lived my whole life thinking I was warm undertone because i have a LOT of yellow on my skin. I used to add turmeric to my foundation to make it match me better a long time ago when warm tones were not as available in the drugstore. Recently with the emergence of color analysis i always thought I would be a deep autumn as I know I liiok better in deep dark colors and as a warm undertone that is what I would “naturally” fall under. Well, I did an in-person color analysis and it turns out COOL colors look better on me 🤯 If it wasn’t because of the pictures I would not believe it. This off course made me fall into a deep rabbit whole of why my skin was yellow but I was supposedly (as per my pics during the session) a COOL undertone. Then I find out about olive skin and it “makes sense” but also confuses me because several people continue to say that it is NOT a true undertone but then it makes it quite impossible for people like myself to be correctly categorized during a visit to let’s say Sephora and people assume because of my blatant yellow tone I am warm. Which it is what happened ny entire life. If there are only 2 undertones, warm and cool, and yellow is warm then I should be warm, Which I am not, therefore, in my opinion olive should 100% be a regularly categorized undertone in order to more easily identify people with this outliar undertone early in their life.
Thank you for sharing your story, Jen. I got stuck in the colour quiz with undertones. I know I'm a Summer . I used to be a light summer but my skin tone has changed slightly. I'm no longer light and bright. Warm reds, oranges, yellow greens, camel tones do not work for me. Neither do very dark colours. I can't wear black or very dark navy but French navy suits me. I don't look good in white but soft winter white suits me. I think I might be a soft summer.
The beauty of Your Color Style is that it is not seasons. If you try to match it to seasons then you will be stuck. You're saying summer which is cool undertones and you are describing warm colors. I have yellow undertone skin - grey hair and dark eyebrows ( originally dark blonde) - I fund it so hard to choose colour now- what would I be? It would be so very helpful. Tend to choose silver / grey/white/navy/black. Thank you
You would benefit from a color analysis with us. This is what we specialize in. We customize a color palette based on colors that may not suit you as you gray. Please consider it: yourcolorstyle.com/pages/online-color-analysis
Doesn’t work for me. I think olive skin tones, like everything else, is on a spectrum. I have very pale skin. There is some olive to it. I can see it when I hold a white piece of paper next to my face. (I’m part Italian.) but it is not dominant. Pinks don’t work unless there is some yellow in them. Navy blue is horrible. So I don’t think this take on olive skin is hard and fast. Of course, you have never done that. I just want to emphasize that there is a spectrum.
I agree. The more I study olive skin tone, the more I see a spectrum. It is challenging to say olive skin tone is X when you're are so right. I'm finding that there are some olives that are more yellow and look better in the warm color palettes. There are just some colors to avoid. And then others that are more green fall into what I describe in this video. I hear and appreciate your feedback
Thank you. I’ve gone gray twice before, and since all my clothing colors were off, I redid my dark hair. Okay, this is my third time growing it out (I’m a masochist). But in the meantime, I’ve spent lots of time studying color palettes. I think I’m a little on the warmish side, which explains my problems. This presentation was very helpful. As an artist,I appreciate your approach.
I had warmish brown/black hair in my youth, with very pale skin and dark hazel eyes. So I always wore bright chroma colors due to my high contrast. As I’ve aged, I’ve softened my colors, but I’ve realized I can’t wear blue. I never could. I look good in teal and turquoise and the slightly warmer brighter greens. So I can’t wear navy or true blue without looking dead. Yet, a medium-dark periwinkle is one of my best colors. I’ve lately learned that I have pale olive skin. The slightly warmer blush and lipstick work much better on me, but I can’t wear pumpkin colors. So I’ve given up trying to fit in a category. I’ve learned to stick in the middle - not too warm and not too cool.
Excellent. I’ve been a bit confused as I used to wear high chroma colors when I was young. Now that I’m older, they have to be softer. But really muted colors don’t look good on me. So now I understand. I need the bright colors darkened a little bit to add just enough softness, but not too much.
I give up on this, lol. I always thought I was a Winter. I have Dark brown hair, light green eyes, and warm skin tone. I always get compliments when I wear clear bright colors. LIke Royal Blue, or Kelly green and Bright Lemon yellow, not a golden yellow though. But some of these things say I am more of an Autumn. It's so confusing. My hair has some red highlights in it when I am in the sun a lot. Copper colored hair or light auburn looks good on me too. But I am totally confused after watching so many of these videos. In fact my hair has gone gray and its now colored a copper color.
I don't know the cool summer palette so I can't advise. Soft cool deep is for a person that has deep tones, cool undertones and the sharp bright colors are too strong.
After listening to your info, I finally decided what I am. I am 72yo with 3/4 head of bright silver hair. Hair used to be so brown was almost black I believe I was a cool winter with very light olive skin and green eyes. I am now a cool (soft) summer! If the color has white in it, it looks nice near my face. Yellows and green only accentuate the yellow and green in my skin. Could that be right? Thank you for all your help.
I don't know seasons. YCS is not seasonal color analysis. In YCS, it sounds like you are bright and cool. Probably medium. You can get the BCM color fan here: yourcolorstyle.com/collections/color-fans/products/mini-bright-cool-medium-color-fan-bundle
