Metallica with Cliff still alive would have had a much different sound. they melodic/harmonizing goodness that Cliff got the other members to do makes those first 3 albums the best imo. especially Ride the Lighting. Everybody love MOP, but ehh it's just okay. RtL is peak Metallica for me.
