I love Liberty London Tana Lawn and have done for 50 yrs or more. My question is are the more stables, longer lasting because we were always told a quilt will never last if you use Tana Lawn. I’m really interested to know if it’s changed or it’s exactly the same. Thank you in antisipation of your response.
Why don’t you shift your phone or camera to a horizontal position so that there are no black edges, you have so much info but th3 black edges is very very disconcering
I am just making quilt with hexagons, 1/3/4 inch. Instead of paper / card backing, I am using a stabekiser with a glue one side and you don’t need to remove it, I feel it gives a nice padded hexagon the finished quilt will be 7ft x7ft. I am making it In liberty quilting material I must say I am 14 rows into it at the moment and the finished project eith have several thousand hexagons. It is getting a bit heavy , so I am starting to do several rows then sew into the main piece , but yes very interesting and therapeutic I find. Even nicer when you can watch the Tv or listen to music while doing it, worth a try for anyone that likes sewing i think.
