@deboraholmstead5121 aaahhh!! Thats nice! Loading can sometimes be a pain, especially after a long hot summers day and you are tired. But driving without worrying about the kayak in the roof or on a trailer is such a joy! 🤣
It's just on the outskirts of Brits in the Crocodile River, but not a real open fishing spot. I had to keave my car next to the road and walked in between the bushes. Not going there anymore due to safety concerns and plant overgrowth.
Hi, dont know if you will still see this. Braided line will slip on your spool, if you spool just enough backing of mono or fluoro to cover the metal on the very inside of the spool and spool your braid on top of that it will stop your braid from slipping👍🏻
Hallo Tjaart! 🤣 Hoop dis okay!
Needs a firing pin spring. Old Galil bolts don't have a firing pin spring, gunk allows the firing pin to remain forward causing a round to be fired out of battery.
Hey Lourens!

@@neelsolivier5500
Yebo Eben! Ons moet gesels definitief! Ek en my broer beplan om 'n aand by Emanzini te gaan oorslaap, heel moontlik vo;lgende week. In die weeksdae as dit stil is. Maar ek is op verlof huidiglik.
Hey, thank you very much! The cat was caught on a Okuma Scorpio combo, it is a medium heavy rod. currently I have 30lbs braid with a 14lbs mono leader. line is a bit heavy, but because I don't see myself as a die hard bass only angler I opted for the stronger line as I like the cats also. The bass on the wacky is on a 30size Okuma Ceymar reel with just an entry level ordinar Okuma G-Force rod. that reel got 20lbs braid and I use the same leader.
@@MartinAzelle That's is interesting how the behavior of the river cats differ from the dam cats. I've noticed on some of the other RU-vid channels that the chaps are popping for Barbel in other regions of the country. It seems to work really well.
I want to try the popping, I do have popper but for some reason I have less patience with that than with other artificial lures! 🤦🤦🤣🤣 But it is a "bucket list" to get it right!
Thank you! The rod was an Okuma Red V2 in 7' medium heavy. Unfortunately I broke that rod while snagged in the river! 🤦🤦🤦 My reel is an Okuma Ceymar C30. The line I believe was 20lbs Grinder 8x braid with a 14lbs mono leader.
@@MartinAzelle Firstly thanks for the detailed information. I'm sorry to hear that your rod broke I know that feeling. I enjoy watching your channel keep up the good work.
Unfortunately I can't make a comparison as I have never used, or even seen, another kayak than a Vanhunks. But I did not as yet had any problems with the 2 that I have. The Manatee is a nice small kayak, easy to carry and load, but on big open water with wind it is a struggle without a pedaldrive.
For me I find the peddle drive a hassle if if you have to worry the whole time about not breaking it on rocks. But in the other hand yiu always need to have a paddle as backup on the kayak. If I know the water I will then just lift the peddle out when you approach a sketchy area, paddle through it and drop peddle on the other side.
