This button sewing technique is very strong, however has some downsides. Be aware that the stronger the sew, the bigger chance to break your material. For example, imagine ripping delicate silk with a knot like this.
Your extra large button makes it easy for students to see what you are doing. In future videos, are you willing to use diameter yarn? If you use sisal twine, cotton clothesline, or a far yarn, then students could see the thread better. A large needle would be good to have too. Perhaps you could buy a wooden dowel from a store that sells lumber for building houses. Then polish the tip of the dowel with sand-paper. Drill a hole in the fat end of the wooden needle with an electric drill in order for form the eye of the needle. varnish with spar urethane and let dry, turn the wooden needle over the next day and varnish again with spar urethane again.
I was in a hotel , i sent a shirt for dry cleaning the day before I leave, next day by the time I should get ready I noticed one button is missing i had no time to send it back and as it was a uniform shirt i had no option but sewing it my self even wearing another one wasn’t an option .. your video saved the day .. thank you

Thank you you're life saver! Prom is this weekend, and I haven't worn this vest since the beginning of the school year when I still would Wear my suit and trench-coat to cope with people leaving me. And the last time I wore it I lost another friend and angrily took off my vest and pulled the button clean off. But shortly after that I met this girl who gets me more than anyone I've ever met in a really long time, and I didn't feel like I needed the suit and trench-coat anymore, I didn't need to look good or be mysterious to feel "normal", or to stand out and hide at the same time. About a week ago I asked her to prom. I've never wanted to be a better person for anyone in the way I do for her, I asked her out in a traditional cheesy promposal which I'd never do, I made sure she was comfortable with going with me, I found a group and planned some things to help her enjoy the experience, like we're going to hang out with her family before so she doesn't feel like she's losing time or leaving anyone to be unseen or unnoticed. I asked my mom to make her a corsage, it's a dragon snap and teal flower silk corsage so that she could keep it forever, I'm not very good at making stuff like that lol. And I'm buying a seafoam bowtie so I can match my date, she loves teal, turquoise, and apparently seafoam. And I bought the tickets. It's not very evident because you don't know me personally but I wouldn't usually go this far for anyone. And I fixed my vest all by myself, well I guess not all by myself, cause I looked up how to fix a button, but I've never successfully done that before. She's my best friend, and I want to give her something as amazing as she is. And with your help I think I might be able to accomplish that. She's my favorite person in the whole world and she's special to me and because of you I'm gonna be able to make her feel genuinely special. Thank you!
this video did not help me at all mater fact this is a very bad demonstration. first of all the button is way to big second you are talking to me like i am a child please stop making videos because they are horrible i am dissipated because i thought this video would help me but it did not i will never be watching this again because this is a bad video please im begging you to quit you tube because this is very bad so take my word and stop sewing this is madness and i am now very mad please stop before i rage and you dont want to see me rage it is not fun so dont bother making any more videos. sincerely Karen
