Oh wow, what an awesome video! Amazing shots Trev! It must be so hard to get those Close Up shots, while they're flying around and only settling for a few minutes or seconds. You must have the patience of a Saint. Good job mate! 👍
Just found this video, Trev. Like you, I love the Cloudpeak 2, but the cap drives me nuts. No matter how light the wind is, it always flaps about and keeps me awake. I've been thinking about getting the Helm 2 for a while now. Good video, exactly what I've been looking for.
Trev, what a beautiful butterfly the White Admiral is. I never knew there were such things until you told us on the phone. A beautiful walk in such a stunning setting in such lovely weather can only add to your enjoyment of the day and ultimately for is all to share. We both wished we could’ve been there with you. So happy you have another first! Xx
Hello, I saw this kayak in a store yesterday and it attracted me very much. Then I searched for reviews about it online and found some negative reviews, so I became hesitant. I would like to ask, is your Intex Excursion pro K1 kayak still in use? Does it have quality issues? Some people said it would crack after a winter, which I am worried about because I am in Canada.
Another amazing video. Your patience paid off. Big time! The butterflies are really beautiful, delicate creatures. Wonderful scenery, as always. Really enjoyed watching. Thanks Trev x
Nice one Trev, enjoyed watching your video, butterflies definitely more difficult to film than birds, it's the thrill of the chase though, just waiting for some decent weather myself, cheers DB👍
As promised John and I watched and thoroughly enjoyed it. Absolutely brilliant to see the Large Brown Fritillary and the Green Hairstreak. Your knowledge and narration is so impressive. Scenery was so lovely too. Lovely to share the moment with you. Look forward to your next Trek. xx
We all loved it Trev and you can just imagine Mum’s little face when she was watching! Wonderful to see the Large Brown Fritillary, the Green Hairstreak etc and as always loved your narration, in awe of your depth of knowledge! The scenery and weather couldn’t have been more perfect, even a beautiful rainbow! Look forward to your next Trek! Xx
Lets get something true and straight ,rewilding projects fail because the landscape and actions of man are now completely different ,to when those species existed...the only rewilding i can think of in relative terms is the otter release programne from years ago which has escalated across the country decimating bird and fish life in its wake .. Thats a fact seen the damage done hundreds of times from lutra lutra...
Such a beautiful video Trev! The whole setting, the weather, your lovely commentary and how you explain everything about their amazing coexistence with the black ants, those beautiful Silver Studded Blue butterfly, stunning! So pleased you got to see them and take gorgeous photos for us to enjoy and share. Loved the drone shot of the area and the coastline! I miss you and Cornwall! Look forward to the next Trek. Xx
Loved Part ll Trev, such a fabulous setting, so lovely seeing the meadow of orchids and buttercups. So thrilled that you were able to see the Large Blue Butterfly and I could share the joyous moment. I could tell by your face it was worth all the effort. See you soon for your next adventure. xxx
Another beautiful vid, equally as good as part one ! You aren’t wrong about the beauty of the blue butterfly, stunning. Thank you too for sharing your knowledge, very informative and fascinating. Thanks for sharing x
We loved Part II Trev! Beautiful scenery and video of the buttercup meadow with all the orchids! Absolutely thrilled that you were able to see the Large Blue Butterfly and we shared your delight!! Such a pretty butterfly and it must have been worth all the effort of your Trek! Look forward, as always, to your next adventure wherever it may lead. ❤xxx
Absolutely loved this Trev, a fabulous location, so peaceful and your video and pictures just get better and better. Loved hearing the cuckoo and great footage of the Marsh Harrier too. Looking forward to Part 11. xxx
Everyone! I figured out the measurement! So you take the clear ruler and reverse it so it's backwards. Then you match it against the long line on the kayak. So if the table says you need to inflate it to 5.3, then the 5 cm measurement on your kayak needs to match your backwards ruler to 5.3 cm. The same with the sides. Match your ruler in reverse to the long line on the kayak that reads 10 cm. The 10 cm line on the kayak should go to the 11.1 (or whatever your table reads) on the backwards clear ruler. I hope this makes sense.
Didn’t get to watch this last night, events overtook. Absolutely stunning video, Trev. TV documentary quality, your patience pays dividends, your choice of music is perfect. Will be watching this again later when himself is back home. I could watch this over and over. IMO the best so far, brilliant. X
Loved it all Trev! Such stunning places to explore and take the beautiful photos you do. The lovely meadow where you camped, full of wild flowers and so peaceful too. Good to hear the Cuckoo again, never tire of hearing it. Looking forward to your next Trek as always and seeing Part II. Xx
Great video Trev! What a hidden gem that place is. 👍 I've seen that bird so many times but couldn't figure out what it was. It's a Skylark. Thanks Trev 😁
Just what can I say….absolutely magnificent! Stunning in fact! Had never even heard of a purple heron. Thank you for sharing. And also thank you for my ‘ducking fix’. Cuteness overload. The first I have seen this year. None in the river at bottom of road this time, in fact hardly any ducks 😔. Enjoyed this video very much. X
Such a lovely video Trev and delighted you got a lifer!! The Purple Heron is so lovely, although the resident Heron didn’t think so, invading his territory! Beautiful lake with all the water lillies waiting to open. That would be a pretty sight too. So nice to see the Campions in bloom, reminds me of when I was young! Such a peaceful place and the female Mallard with her little brood of ducklings having a dabble, always beautiful to see. Look forward to your next trek hopefully next week! Thanks for sharing so we can enjoy seeing all the wildlife down there! xx
The Red Deer (Cervus elaphus) is a large deer species native only to Europe, it is the fourth fourth largest deer species belonging to the genus Cervus and the fifth largest deer species alive today, with only the Moose (Alces alces), Elk/Wapiti (Cervus canadensis), Hangul (Cervus hanglu), and Caspian Deer (Cervus maral) all being larger, in fact, there are ten recognized red deer subspecies under two subspecies groups, the two subspecies groups of deer are the Cervus elaphus hippelaphus group (Southern Red Deer) that contains the Crimean Red Deer (Cervus elaphus brauneri), the Pannonian Red Deer (Cervus elaphus pannoniensis), the Alpine Red Deer (Cervus elaphus hippelaphus), the Mesola Red Deer (Cervus elaphus italicus), and the Iberian Red Deer (Cervus elaphus hispanicus) and the Cervus elaphus elaphus group (Northern Red Deer) that contains the Swedish Red Deer (Cervus elaphus elaphus), the Norwegian Red Deer (Cervus elaphus atlanticus), the Scottish Red Deer (Cervus elaphus scoticus), the English Red Deer (Cervus elaphus englandensis), and the Irish Red Deer (Cervus elaphus hibernicus).
Another lovely video Trev. Beautiful scenery, birds and the wild flowers. So pretty. And of course the deer. So relaxing to watch. A great start to the day. Thank you for sharing x
Loved this Trek Trev, great to see the Red Deer, bluebells and Lady’s Smock. The birdsong from the Tree Pipit was so lovely. Pleased the sun came out for you. Look forward to your next trek xxx
We so enjoyed this one Trev. Loved seeing and hearing all the species there and the Red Deer bluebells and Lady’s Smock such a joy. Look forward to where the next trek takes you. ❤xx
Lovely video. Heard cuckoo many many times, but never seen one….until now! So thank you for that! Scenery is amazing, gorgeous little birds. Really enjoyed watching, thank you for sharing xx
I managed to get lots of video footage of a reeling Grasshopper Warbler in the Norfolk Broads last year. The bird was singing a little intermittently and I had a bit of camera shake, but I was very pleased nonetheless.
