i do agree that both piano and drums always run out of expressionability and maybe he felt his voice could get the sound out of his head the only way. Idk myself how to play harmonica or guitar so i couldnt say how much expression range those could provide but i know synthesizers CAN, but it takes you fucking hundreds of hours of studio time and very long nights of just trying shit out - or millions of button presses on Randomize.
I really don't understand why i hate watching singers dance while they singing... Except mj... Why only him??? IDK... I wish that i know... I started listening to mj not long ago... So it is not nostalgia
Not a huge fan of the tongue whistling tone in general, but his technique is immaculate. I've been whistling for 25 years myself, and while it might sound like an easy line whistling bilabially, those notes and those scoops are pretty tough if you're tongue whistling.
No, this way you will not understand what English sounds like to a non native speaker, because he partly uses English vowels, sounds and even some words so it is very familiar to you. To get an inkling of what English might sound like for a non native speaker: we (in the Czech Republic) used to say that the Americans speak like someone with a hot potato in their mouth. That is what English sounded to us.
Do you post any original content or you just copy old rubbish and make out it’s blowing your mind, if that blows your mind you can’t have much of a mind to blow
I have watched something like this before but instead of a song, it's a short film. They used this language mimicking English, so it was kind of like how English sounds like to non-English speakers. It's just mind blowing how our brains could perceive that as what we know but we don't really understand.
