The FUND for Lake George is a not-for-profit, privately funded organization dedicated to the protection of Lake George. Formed in 1980, the FUND applies a science-guided approach to protection focused on Lake George water quality and the overall health of the Lake George watershed. The FUND pursues this mission through long-term scientific research, strategic advocacy, diverse partnerships, and direct investment. The FUND sponsors the Lake George Waterkeeper, among other programs. The FUND for Lake George is managed by a Board of Trustees, has a staff of five, and maintains an office in Lake George.
This is so obvious that you immediately wonder why no one thought to do it a long time ago. It will reduce the usage of road salt that deteriorates roads and bridges. Using less road salt also means less runoff of salt into our water supplies therefore less corrosion of water pipes.
So excited to be putting this fusion system in. Our septic got wiped out during high water in the St. Lawrence River. Several people have gone to this system and are happy with it.We are mostly rock, and don't have room for a leach field. so we have to have a lifting station to take affluent to another location on our island.
