This whole mission is just perfect. The witness is done for when we enter the area. It’s just been severely weakened due to losing in the raid it’s lost its chokehold on the traveler and it’s had to sever itself in half to escape. It’s been pinned down just outside its monolith that’s now been overcome by light it can see a fleet of thousands of ships of different species that have come together to end it. Guardians are closing in on its forces just outside and there tearing through the dread shadow legion and vex like there nothing. The traveler is now also empowering guardians that were brace enough to free it and join the final fight with the witness. It knew it was dead here it just couldn’t accept or handle it. Even it’s attacks are now slow and it can’t do anything but try fight a losing battle
@@lightningmonky7674 i personally think the game drags and overstays its welcome. The music during these fight sections are the only thing I loved about the game. Its been a while maybe I need to revisit but one play-through was good enough for me
Its almost like Rhulk has a boombox next to his father's glaive playing his theme, and as the the forcefield expands, it muffles most of his theme, until you get to the back of his room and hear it at full volume
Perfect ending, as soon as this played and I seen the witness struggling to withstand the attack I knew this was its end. Finally the thing that sought to end the universe was killed
The music at 2:50 is pretty crazy. It hits hard emotionally as its out soundtrack and we are finally putting an end to the darkness but also bringing and end to a race themselves.
An end kinda. They were ended when they chose to become the witness. Although some which we learn are the dissenters didn’t want to become part of the collective and they are the ones that beg us to free them finally. As the fight continues more and more previous voices now dissent and beg to be free. Free meaning there’s now echos of the witness everywhere after its death. This is also the first time we are in control and it makes even more sense at the end of the raid when it says “we are in control” to us as it can’t accept finally it’s lost control adm is now on the defence
Still the best raid boss theme. The Witness should have had something along these lines utilizing the Darkness motif more heavily. Wasn't bad, but this theme was perfect for the Rhulk fight.
It’s just a deconstructed, synthesised version of our original Guardian theme. Still epic though! The synth version can be heard within the song “Cusp of Finality” on The Final Shape OST
@@ADubiiousTask used the swede so had a hell of a fight but it still needs you to hit tge engine mechanics when the overload and expose but it so much more up and personal
