Hi, We went there on late May last year, roads are fine little bit narrow in some places but definitely you can go on a Rav 4 without worries. One of our friends who joined this trip also drove a Rav 4. There was snow on the road between Pilots Lookout and Dead Horse Gap. If you are traveling on July better to carry snow chains there will be more snow.
It will take around 4 hours, on our journey we stayed overnight at Omeo .. it took us nearly 2 hours from Bright to Omeo and next day from Omeo to Bairnsdale nearly an other 2 hours
47:47 Bloody hell, for a split second I thought you'd rolled. Great video. Beautiful part of the country. You captured it perfectly. Can't wait to do it myself.
Impressive how narrow and small is the biggest river in Australia!!!!!...........thank God for Artesian basin and lets hope rains increases and irrigation is better managed........
Just a quick note: Mildura does not produce pink Himalayan salt - that is rock salt from the Himalayas. Sea lake nearby Mildura produces pink Murray salt, from the river and lakes surrounding the area.
Drive to Mildura this Christmas in shore it will give a gift this year after a tough year it has been money wise perhaps a stay in Mildura from 23rd December to 13th January works
Absolutely wonderful, it's like as if we're riding along with you on this stunning journey. Thanks for the front seat vantage view! Grretings from Ireland
