July 8, I lost my daughter. I am burying her on Thursday 8/29. She leaves behind a 9 yr old and a 5 yr old. Both version of this song is what has been holding me. I wish I could console everyone here grieving but I can only say, hug those beautiful memories, never let good.❤❤️
My mom passed away almost six years ago, and my dad and I talked about her often. He would say how much he missed her. He learned by missing her to make sure he told us that he loved us. We always knew but it was so nice to hear it. Last week, he went to be with her. It was so unexpected, and I wasn't there. I miss him so much. I am sitting here making a playlist for his funeral and I am listening to Dancing in the Sky and see a rewrite. I wasn't going to listen because the original is amazing. Something told me to listen, my eyes just kept skipping over to it. So, I listened. It was as if my mom and dad were sending me a message. Thank you!
My brother and dad died within three months of each other. April 8, 2024 and July 13, 2024. They both loved music. My dad especially was incredibly gifted in singing. I truly believe he is singing in the angels choir like this version of the song says. While my brother is watching and admiring his singing 💔♥️

I used to tell my daughter how much she looked like this gorgeous gal and then my daughter took her life. Its very easy for me to see her singing this to me to let me know her struggle is over and she's ok now.

I lost my grandmother 3 years ago and I have missed her every single day. I closed my eyes while listening to this song and I could feel her by my side.

My mom was diagnosed on April 4th with stage 4 pancreatic and liver cancer. We knew time was gonna fast. We talked very openly about the time she left. I came across this song and let her listen to it. I told her I was gonna have this played ay her funeral. She loved the idea. Today is the first time listening to it since the funeral. JUST AS BEAUTIFUL AS EVER !!!!
