I cant imagine the spiritual pressure that would lead to such moral failures as a leader. It is heartbreaking. It doesn't change the word of God... God's word will accomplish what he pleases... I pray healing for this family.

It was sooooo obvious that your brother wanted you out from the very beginning. NEVER trusted him. One thing that turned me off very early was the way your mother favored him… then his wedding was like the marriage of royalty. I quit watching .
Paul I am so glad I came across this RU-vid. I started watching TBN when we moved up to a very liberal dark place for Christians in Washington State after we retired from the Air Force out of Texas to be close to my husband's family in 1995. My then mother in law turned me onto TBN. I loved when Paul and Jan had the Priase a thons and I donated monthly to TBN directed by God to help with Israel. After your parents died and Mathew took over it has not been the same. I can see your are the one that truly has the heart of God and I really like your present wife. Ya'll are doing GOD'S work . We support ISRAEL and we donate monthly to another Christain min and we donate monthly to the JEW FOR THE HOLOCAUST ELDERLY. Always stay as you are now for the LOVE OF GOD.
In 1983 I repented of my backsliding and The Lord and Savior King Jesus Christ miraculously changed my life. I watched TBN for years and Paul Jr. doing the backward masking of the rock n roll music. The friend God sent back into my life told me her and a boyfriend were watching one of those shows and a Christian singer was going to sing a song. The boyfriend had been recording some music on a reel to reel and quickly decided to record the singer. After the singer finished he flipped the tape around to play it backwards. To their amazement the song backwards said Christian words even clearer than the rock n roll songs. I believe Paul Jr. could research this episode, record and play that song backwards and verify this. Also later I was in a Montgomery Wards and went to the section selling little electronic keyboards. One of them had a button to reverse sounds you could make into a microphone. I spoke the phrase from the Queen song Another One Bites The Dust and played it backwards. It said It's Fun To Smoke Marijuana. Then I said a line ftom the Christian song and it said what my friend told me they had heard from their recording. I do not remember the phrase exactly, but maybe it was something like Praise Jesus Lamb Of God. I have moved from Southern California and been in this state for 32 years. I always wondered and this has answered some questions. Thank you Paul Jr. and Brenda Crouch. Thanks Paul for your time at TBN. TBN was always a blessing for me. Like all families, we always fight and have sins, but during that time I know God was showing grace. I always watch your programs and appreciate the new ways you find to spread the message. I hope someday forgiveness and peace will surround your whole family again.
Now I know why I left TBN. I was an Ardent TBN supporter during the 80s and the entire 90s. I always wondered what had become of you, now I know. I left TBN when Matt and Laurie took over. TBN has become so SECULAR that there is no point in watching it. May the good Lord continue to bless and prosper you
PJ, you were always the one that shined brightest amongst your family. I saw the jealousy & striving of Matt to be your Dad’s replacement. When you said the word “alcoholism” my reaction was exactly the same as if you’d said he had pancreatic cancer. The Lord called me to be a prayer partner with TBN decades ago. When I finally went in the studio I was told I had to have a recommendation from my church’s “home group leader”. Well my church didn’t have home groups. We had church at church and I could have produced three pastors recommendations that had know me from my youth. They refused them. So I said to the lady, “well I did my part I came and volunteered.” I didn’t need another volunteer job. God never let me go back in the Irving studio again. CBN later hired me when I was sent there. God can tell you to go do a job but people put walls up. Thank you for speaking your truth. I had no idea of any of this. I watch most ministers on RU-vid after the Daystar fell from the sky. The merchandising of the anointing at TBN was my final straw. Are we a Christian TV station or do we sell things? The truth has illuminated me thank you so much. I now understand why there’s almost no anointing on that network anymore.
I quit watching TBN a long time ago. We get so wrapped up in tv ministry and the leaders that its all about prosperity and big houses and lots of money.God help us all. We need to study Gods word for ourselves.seek God for ourselves. Yes judgment will begin in the house of the lord first..tv ministers have totally has definitely left a bad feeling in my spirit. So many are going to be fooled before the lord comes back
You can forgive, but do you still have matt and laurie as apart of your life?? My sister did the same thing to me with our family business and my dad has supported her lies. I thought my sister and I were building a relationship and I stead found out she was back biting and just wanting to be in charge. I am trying to forgive but want nothing to do with her.
I have often wondered about his brother, and now I know my instincts were correct. Mine is the same way. I've even watched Matt be rude and rather insulting to Joyce Meyer, in his usual cocky way. He will answer to God for all the evil he's done.

I realize that everyone has their own struggles, and walk with God, but knowing how many believers have put their trust in these people is very heartbreaking. We just prayed two days ago here os testimony my friends mother was bound by false religion her whole life wounded as a child in what she saw turned her away from God for years. She was broken so bound by false religions and falsehoods this friend crippled in another state his mom near death not saved then God sent her nephews father who had Bern bound by drugs for years his son but he got saved he got jesus and he sent to her hospital her son calked from Texas she was in CA he sent at the right moment prayed with my friends mom we had prayed for hours before I managed flowers to her shortly before she and we prayed for hours for her she waz in hospice not saved her whole life false religion but but her nephews father waz sent he had just gotten saved he prayed wuth her she gave her life to chrsit my friend asked his mom what do yoy want she told her christian son prayer within hours she was fine but my friend said her face glowed she went home to heaven God never misses a moment he had hers prayer this is the power of salvation
