the guy "explaining" is wrong in so many levels. he didnt state pros n cons. the majority of family ppl usually dont have pets and here he is luring folks into buying bagless cause it costs more money. bagged vacuum cleaners are the only good option for allergies.Mess-free to empty. Generally come with large capacities and less cleaning of the vacuum required whereas the only "pros" of a bagless is that u can see when it s full. but as for cons...messy to empty and need emptying more often. More prone to blockages. Takes up more storage space and as usual more involved maintenance
I have the HX2 which I bought after using a Dyson V12 for several months. My thoughts on the Triflex is that it’s very high quality. You won’t wear it out and it’s very quiet and barely bothers my skittish cats. The downside of this is the extra quality and insulation adds weight to the machine, so it’s a trade off. Also, it won’t maneuver and go under furniture as quick and easy as the V12. It has 3 speeds as opposed to the V12 has only 2 speeds…a big selling point because the V12 low speed is a bit underpowered and the high setting drains the battery in under 5 minutes, making it almost useless. The Triflex is better at edge cleaning because of the more useful settings and again, even on high setting, it’s fairly quiet. Dyson has more attachments to choose from and their customer service is probably better…depending on where you buy it. I purchased online, so I have no doubt that the guys who made this video would have premium customer service compared to online service. You could clean your whole house with the HX2, even with carpets, but you’ll need a second battery. If you only have 1000 square feet, you won’t.
I must tell you that in all the years I have owned a Miele vacuum, you are the only person who has every been able to satisfactorily explain that darned indicator. Thank you for making this video and finally clearing up the mystery for me!
I just received my new Triflex Cat & Dog. I have to say that this machine is second to none in build quality. It has far more suction than my fairly new Dyson V12 and is far quieter. The quietness of it surprised me because it doesn`t even bother our 2 very skittish cats. They dart for cover when I get out the Dyson. It`s heavier than the Dyson by far but whereas it has the alternate motor positioning, thats not an issue. I doubt I`ll ever need service for it because it`s built so solid and I assume thats how Miele can offer such a great warranty. The fact that it has 3 speeds is a major selling point but honestly, the lowest setting has impressive suction. I wanted a machine that could provide extra suction for edge cleaning and this Triflex is the answer. Dyson has only 2 settings: very low and blast battery killer. Their highest setting is useless because its only a 5 minute run time at best. They do have a mid level that ramps up on heavier dust areas but no manual middle level. I expect this Miele is the last vacuum I`ll ever need to buy.🙂
Get a good robot vaccum and a stick vacuum. Sorted. Robot does it every 2 days. Stick vacuum for the corners and skirting and the quick runs around the kitchen
To improve your demonstrations so they are just not mindless eye candy you should put a chart either on your company's website and/or the RU-vid video description section with a table of vacuum cleaners you have featured on RU-vid stating each model's Airflow, Water Lift and Air Watts. We could do it ourselves but you are in the business of selling them 😀
My vacuum hose on my Miele was clogged near the handle - after watching a couple videos on how to remove the handle - i thought this is way too complex - has to be a simpler solution - and reversing the hose worked perfectly - thank you so much.
Great job on the review guys ❤. One thing I learned is there is a 20% restocking fee if you try to return it. That’s quite hefty and a bit unusual for online purchases today and I find that a bit disappointing. Hopefully the HX2 I ordered lives up to the hype and nothing goes wrong with it because $180 is pretty steep for a return.
Awesome.Thank you for the comment. Not sure where you are located and who you purchased from. We do not charge a restocking fee, its free 30 day returns. Nevertheless, we hope you love the new vacuum.
What’s the difference between these two filters? I know that one stops odours but in terms of performance of filtering out dust/ microns - which is better?
I had major issues with the old kenmores made by panasonic..... 1. The bag would slip off the collar. I'd be vacuuming along and check the bag and open the door to find that the bag was 1/2 off the collar and I'm vacuuming dirt and it's going straight into the bag chamber. I had to tape it on so it wouldn't slide off. 2. Even with the bag secure on the bag collar... there was always dust in the bag chamber...I don't think the seal was good. 3. The quick disconnect connections would short out and stop working after about 3/4 years every single time...and that's without pulling the wand out with the PN running (I knew not to do that) The ease of use was good but these were 3 major things that made me never want to buy one again
Im having trouble knowing the correct model to get? We want the one with the power handle for the motorized brush heads. We need the unit that will clean our hard wood floors and carpet upstairs. Please help.
No worries. Take a look at this link, all these models come with an electric powerhead for carpets. They all do hard floors as well.vacuumwarehouse.ca/collections/best-miele-vacuums-for-carpets/
My company bought this vacuum for my daughter and I as we took over the cleaning in the company because the people who were doing the cleaning weren't doing a good job. They said they were vacuuming and yet the two vacuums they had at the company didn't work. So, we have used this vacuum a couple times and though it's a good vacuum, the one thing I'm not a fan of it the cord. It constantly comes unplugged from the base. It's a pretty loose fit so you spend most of your time constantly plugging it in. It does not edge very well, but I have the 300 version, not the 350 which is supposed to be a better edging vacuum. I have a Riccar and that vacuum is far superior to this vacuum. It edges like a dream and the power is so much better. My daughter would rather use mine as well. Like I said, it's not a bad vacuum. The plug safety feature is its only drawback. Maybe have a clip next to the plug so it can hold the plug from coming out when vacuuming.
I am a pro cleaner and I will NEVER purchase a Dyson vacuum again. Overpriced garbage. Shark is the only brand I get because they not only do a great job but they are affordable too and they can hold up thru a lot of use
I had a Dyson cordless before, not a great vacuum, always had issues with cleaning it, dust gets stuck in the inner part where you empty it plus the filters need to be washed etc. so a couple of days ago I purchased the Henry Quick Pet version. Far far better than the Dyson, i think it has more suction, easier to push on the floor and way easier to empty, Plus the fact no cleaning required. I don’t mind having to pay for pods. As the poster said all bagless machines need filters changed and washed.
My mother in law has had her SEBO for 20 years and of course modern technology has advanced since then. My question about this is, with the outer sleeve being a filter it will need changing from time to time, how do we know if this vacuum or even the filter/sleeves will be available in 5, 10, 20 years from now? I know people buy this brand of vacuum because of how reliable they are and how long they last but I don't want to spend the kind of money the Felix costs for it to become irrelevant in the coming years where I am struggling to find parts that are needing replacing (mainly the outer filters).
I worry about that only because Germany's economy is getting worse every day So sad when they used to be THE powerhouse of Europe. Despite that, I still love my sebo. Just bought a second one, only because mine was stolen 😥
Great Vacuum, but the dust container could be bigger, as it needs frequent emptying ! The motor unit label says use AP01/AP02/AP03 battery packs. My battery says “AP02” , Is there an AP03 battery for longer run time ?
Yes you are absolutely correct. There’s no way a cordless vacuum can fully deep clean your house. I use mine in between cleaning with my main corded vacuum. My cordless picks up a lot but cannot get under everything therefore I have to use my main one to clean under the really low furniture. If I go a longer period of time without using my main corded one I can really tell that my home is not as clean as it usually is.
especially with lots of carpeted spaces! The new generation of stick vacs do good, but sometimes you need more than 20 minutes to get every nook and cranny.
