If I can do it, you certainly can. This channel is dedicated to showing not only how achievable woodworking can be, but also how satisfying. If this channel helps at least one person build something of their own, well then, it's worth it. Keep in mind, I'm a moron. This is premium entertainment.
Sounds like you / your electrician didn't do the basic homework to starting an electrical project. 1st of all, a 100A service should be the minimum to the shop. That said, and assuming a 240 single phase feed your Voltage Drop from the street pole will be 56V on 10/3 which is 23%; the Max allowed by Code on the Service is 2% (4.8V) - - - From the RV Source which you said is 400' and you're feeding a 30A Breaker on 10/3 you've got a 29.82Vd which is 12.43%......that's better but still hard on your equipment and will heat up your feed.......Some folks think just because they meter the voltage they need at the end of a run they're good then mystified when their tools sound strange running or worse yet bog down under load and destroy their work piece and will eventually burn up their tools.............Kind of the same reason you don't tow a Ski Boat or RV with a Prius, the Prius may get the load rolling, but the show gets scary when the Prius has to hit the brakes and stop the load or flames out up on the 1st hill.
Absolutely we are glad you are back as well I had emotional damage myself as we parted ways on this video! Was curious if you got your electric ever finalized in the shop remember you saying it was going to be a while due to the issues?
That ending, 🥲 "send me pictures of how much better a woodworker you are" and "I missed you" We missed you too! Sorry to hear your house issues, but the new job sounds like a good thing and selfishly, we all are excited to hear you'll be in the shop and making new videos of your adventures!
And her response... "Why do you give me the things you don't like?" Your response of, I was gonna burn it is my go to as well when I don't like a project. I either give away if someone can use it, tear it apart if there are any reusable large parts, or burn it. I do not give to anyone in the house however, as I don't want to see it anymore, lol. Maybe that last part is just me? I learned the lesson from the mistake, but don't need to see and be frustrated by it all the time, lol
The king and my favourite creator has returned all hail and bow for the king 👑👑😂. All joking glad your back m8 was getting kinda worried about ya. Dropped few emails heard nothing was getting concerned. Hope your doing better now catch up on email soon got few things have changed since we spoke last. 🏴👍
@@burnstockwoodworking absaloutley m8 am currently heading bed it's like 2am here been in shop late tonight drop me email when your free will pick it up in morning 🏴👍
It's great to see you back, dude! 😃 But yeah, sometimes you don't need to like it. It's enough that the client does. 😉 Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Hello again. Missed you. A few tomato vines climbing that trellis will make the design look completely intentional. If you cover any other shop progress I’d love a gratuitous flyby showing off the saw and plane tills. Maybe a few words on how you constructed. Close enough to see a bit of what’s going on. They look brilliant. Love the wood choice.
I missed you too, friend! I don't hate the obelisk....what if there was a center beam to connect all the points to, and then a cool light or spinner at the top? Anywho, glad you're back!
Yea, connecting at the center would help make it look much better. I think in order to do that I should've cut the rings at a steeper angle, may 15 degrees instead of 5
Welcome back. I love your videos because of who you are. Most utube woodworking channels won't show a project that was a failure but you do. Just makes us love you more
Wish I lived close by. I'm retired now, but still have my excavator and could run that line underground. Later when you get your electric service you could use the RV line as a secondary service so it wouldn't go to waste.
This is how you turn something really simple out of something what would likely be very hard. Reminds me about Woody Hyezmar’s Woodworking Bible which is being given away and can try go’ogling, but I’m not so sure, have a good one!
This vid is really smooth, thanks! Couple it with Woody Hyezmar's concepts maybe go'ogle his latest stuff, and your head will be spinning with some awesome and really creative ideas!
Hey, this is super! So, I did cave in and gave Hyezmar's Woodworking Bible a good look. It's pretty simple to work on any of his projects, try on go'ogle while his still sharing it as a rough draft.
@@burnstockwoodworking yeah, just jealous :-) . I have a two car garage, work in my driveway because I need to clean up, add cabinets, organize... Somehow you'll fill up that gymnasium eventually
