@lotrloreman so I actually made the national park lands myself! If you visit the mpcproxies subreddit, you can find my post with all them, ready to be saved and printed with MPC.com!
I opted to build mine as an artifact deck. It just so happens that many of the big artifact payoffs are 2/2s and all the For Mirrodin! equipments make 2/2s
Im building it aswell and I feel like the best course for increasing the power isn’t actually being able to pull off an early win so much putting in better interaction to slow down your opponents from their fast wins to let you get that slower faerie win, eg. top tier aggro strategies win fast in 1v1 but control decks can still be powerful even if their winning much later in the game
Nice review , thanx subbed , what are the best Innistrad factions for newer players ? Hope you do more Innistrad themed card and deck reviews and maybe some tactics etc . ( I watch a channel called VEX who deals a hand and goes thru a few simulated tuns explaining why he would use a specific card etc )
great build for a fun commander! I've had a lot of fun with this one in my play group since I upgraded the precon. Similarly I constructed more of an interaction play style than a tribal build around, although the faeries that made a the cut are fun to play. For a bit of spice I am running a Jace, Cunning Castaway. I don't usually play planeswalkers in commander, although his ability to loot triggers on each player whom you tend to be attacking/hitting with your army of fliers :) Also because you're goading creatures there's a greater chance of Jace sticking around for a few rounds.
I have a very similar deck except the commander is Akiri, Fearless Voyager and I run a few more board wipes because of that. One thing that happens often is I can't seem to get enough card draw in the deck, do you run into this issue with Nahiri, Forged in Fury? Also some of my favorite cards for this kind of deck that you didn't mention: Kazuul's Toll Collector, and Sun Titan, they tend to generate a lot of free value check them out.
I don't often run into card draw issues, especially when nahiri is out, as she's generating card advantage every time you swing! Also running puresteel paladin helps a lot. And those are good suggestions, I've definitely considered adding them at some point!
That'd a fair point! You can definitely make am argument that they'd be a non-bo. The way I see it though is that since you're making so many bodies you can just move the equipment around and not have to worry too much about the pro white or pro red:)
@@Sleepless_MTG I understand, i think i just avoid stuff like that more because im very forgetful and remembering protection affects my cards too, otherwise i liked the profile it gave me something to work off thanks
Yeah my original version of the deck had a lot more faeries but adding in cheap flash spells works a lot better! Especially when they create faeries themselves with alela
