Thanks dude, this was such an easy fix to an infuriating problem. Nice to know that in this high tech world there are still some things you can fix the old way....with a beating 😂.
How can you review a watch when you clearly know very little about it… thumbs down from me. I’ll watch a review from someone that’s done their homework on it first.
@@bukwok I don't think so, You can hear in the video how it pops when pressed out. Plus a ring that is part of the dial can break very easily. I wouldn't risk it
Gorgeous watch! One of my favorite budget movements, had in another watch for 5 years now and its still going ✌️ Charismatic reviews, keep going bro! 💪
My is black and yellow. So many watches in my collection, and my Bulova, Kenneth Cole, Michael Kors, Biden, Reaction, Casio, Versace, Invicta, and Swiss watches, Solar watches, Automatic watches, Smart, I got them . Over 200 watches
I have a GA1000 that has exactly this problem. I've been hitting it on a magazine on a table and no luck. Any hints? I was about to trash the watch. This post gave me hope that it might be saved. I keep hoping to get this method to work. No luck so far. Do you do it in any special mode? My second hand moves to zero when I go into H.SET, but after pressing MODE (D) to select hour and minute hand setting, I do get 0:00 in the lower display, but no luck adjusting them using B and E buttons. Knowing that a lot of you succeeded by hitting the watch on a flat surface is making this even 😮💨 more frustrating. This may have happened after a new battery install. Did others have this happen after new battery?
You the man! New to me GR-B200, hour and minute hands were stuck at 9:51, tried the hand set adjustment, tried an AC reset, tried everything and nothing worked. Dropped it about a foot and a half onto some bubble wrap on a table and the hands immediately shifted and was able to do a hand set. Thanks!
OMG! it actually worked 😂, i opened my GA 110 to check if something came loose when replacing the battery, but closed it up and banged it on the table and the hands are moving, cheers mate.
Unbelievable this video solved my problem, i have a GA-700 and nothing would work, but when i “gently tapped” to the ground i got on the hard reset it was simple as always. Thank you for sharing😂
I notice the GGB100 you are using the 1B blackout version, I am planning to get one, I would like to ask, with all the dark ambiance inside the modul, does it make the watch hard to read? In outdoors and indoors? Thanks in advance
yes very hard to read. I got this one cuz i got it very cheap. But I also had the other black version (the regular version) and I prefer the other one alot easier to read and it looks better in my opinion
@@eriktalks1171ah I see, so it really does kinda hard to read ya. I am in between getting the 1A and 1B blackout, your reply really helps me to decide which one to get Erik, thank you very much.
It took several attempts (with gentle force on the table/wooden floor/mouse pad) - but in the end it worked. After the first attempt the minute hand has improved from fixed to 15 minutes of movement - after two more attempts the clock is now fully functional again (for 4 days now) Great, thank you very much for sharing this valuable tip!
What would be your daily watch, just to paint a bigger picture. I’m guessing you have some pieces in your collection so it’s very interesting to see that you rate this brand. It’s a complete RM homage/straight up copy so they’ve given some high expectations for their customers. Thanks for the video brother ❤
I like to constantly add watches to my collection and to trade them. This was for a bit my daily watch. But now days I use something simpler a Casio Edifice EFB-1080 similar to the Tissot PRX in style. Also I am loving the Heimdallr sea Ghost which You could say is a copy of the Omega 007 No time to die. I am finding that lighter watches are my cup of tea now. Thank you for watching the video!
Thanks a lot. It really work... The repairman said that I need it to replace the Machine inside my watch.. So he recommended to buy a New watch.. Incredible...my watch is now working fine.. Digital and analog...thanks a lot
I can't believe it. This saved my Casio GW-2500B! It was laying around for some years, now the time handy were stuck, a gentle slam on the desk, immidiatly working!
I bought this exact watch in 2017 at sportsman warehouse by 2021 I started thinking the battery would die . Amazingly as of Jan 2024 it still running strong. Great watch
