Nothing of that car is an E30... that is an insulting thing to say about the E30 M3. Plus, that thing is an obese pig that weighs almost the same as an E39 M5. The G87 looks more like a JDM car than any German car ever built. The rear end looks like a beefed up Scion Tc, the front looks like cubical and cartoonish, there is no elegance straight line that is found in all german glcars fron headlight to tail light, there is no lightness. BMW should have sold that car to an Asian bran so they can put a Hyundai, Kia, Mitsubishi, Honda, Subaru, Toyota, or Suzuki bad on it and nobody would question it was an Asian car because of the foolish desigh that it has. It is not harmonic, it is disorganized and clownish, like most JDM cars have been... with some exceptions obviously.
Nice review! I just recently picked up the new X5M Competition and it’s absolutely amazing in every single way. It’s also loaded with technology that personally I will never use. For any prospective buyer this is definitely a true M driving machine with loads of comfort, feel and size. I own a few BMW M gems and this one hits so many sweet spots
