The face you made was very good I wouldn’t have covered it in the burlap. Now if I had a big skull cheap which is how I’d do it, yet you had that nice airbrush work and those higher end quality work and eyes! Good sculpture work!

Great creepy work. You really captured the expression. La Llorona has a pretty dark origin. Since this one is floating how about replacing the lower half of the spine or the thighs with chain or rope so the legs will swing in the wind independent of the torso? Keep up the great work.

I'm using mostly table cloth and sheets here. You can use any material yes just remember the thicker and more absorbent your material the heavier your creation will be.
Just found your channel, FYI The spray foam can be misted with a spray bottle and the once the foam is not tacky to the touch 3-4 mins the sculpt by hand.

Just found your channel and love your stuff. One suggestion... invest in a Great Stuff gun! Costa around $55 and the cans are more expensive, but you get more foam out of them, letting you use every drop, plus more accurate and easy to clean! My biggest plus is you can use half a can, set it aside, then use the rest later without issue. Youll thank me; saves a ton in the long run!

Thank you! Yeah, power carving is so much fun. What kinds of things do you carve? The chainsaw is very easy to control you just have to keep a firm grip and watch the kickback.
@@CarvalhoCreations So far just textured art pieces, while I get the feel for it and the different burrs. By hand I've done a few signs and small ornaments, fave was an angel I did. I was in an accident a year ago so slowly getting back into it.
I've started watching all your videos. I have skeletons and animatronics from several businesses. I've built two simple ones to start with, and that is quite a learning curve believe me. But I want to build the other props to go with them. This is where your videos are perfect for that. I already have two items to overhaul, modify and repair to learn on. Time to go back and watch more videos.

If you keep it in an air tight container it'll last you a few months. The mixture will produce mold after awhile so I'd check on it now and again. I get my clay from hobby lobby.

I noticed that the black paint seemed to absorb into the clay foam. Is that the nature of alcohol thinned paint? Or does the foam clay absorb a lot? Also, I was over here "telling you" to add some oatmeal to that green paint for vomit chunks. 🤣 Outstanding work! Thank you again for sharing!
It's more the foam clay absorbing the paint. The isopropyl alcohol I used alot around this time because it dries almost immediately but I found regular water works best for a more even coat. Also because you have to thin your paint to keep your airbrush from clogging it takes a few more coats to cover your piece. Haha yeah man oatmeal would've been a perfect touch to add the last bit of texture. My pleasure and thanks for watching!
@SunshinesArtHaus its really awesome stuff and super cheap. Like $2.50 a little bucket at hobby lobby. One thing to note is it does tend to swell a little as it dries so work in thin layers to help combat that.
@@CarvalhoCreations will the swelling affect things like the pumpkin creatures? Or mostly just smaller sculpts like Reagan? I will probably just go for it and see what happens. 🤣
