Hello, I love this modification 👏👏. I was wondering if you think it will hold 2 Kay’s 78lbs a piece and also they are 10 feet long. Thank you for sharing your kayak modification ✌️✌️
Excellent review on this great Kayak! I am buying this Kayak as soon as my local dealer restocks them! I went and saw a floor model of this Kayak today and am very impressed! I own a Vibe Yellowfin 100 and it has been a great 10" kayak in the 3 years I have owned it. Even Vibes is out of stock with all models as of this post! Pandemic Stinks!
@@medic-aidskayakfishing9476 Thanks for the info. I have a 4x 6 from Lowes I was thinking about modding to have a 10ft kayak on it. I'm gonna check Harbor Freight out first though.
Trippingonfaith - The Seaghost 110 and Seaghost 130 have a recessed compartment in the bottom of the kayak, which has a plastic cover on it. You simply flip the kayak over, take the cover off, and there are 4 set-screws inside the compartment (to mount the transducer bracket to). The wires run up through a scupper hole, just forward of the center console.

I've heard that if you stand alot and fish, the center console gets in the way more for your feet and this wouldn't be the best choice for you. Do you stand at all and would you agree?
@@lastcastadventuresFL - Check out vibe kayaks. They have a really nice Shearwater and a Yellowfin that have open floorboards. Vibe has EXCELLENT warranties and customer service!
Dammmmnnn that was a singer at the beginning! Glad the music came in after love that sound of the drag gettin' stripped. That was a monster probably close to 30lb. Keep it up! Sub from me!
www.h24outdoors.com has them, but they sell out really quick. Vibe Kayaks has started including a similar version on their 2019 Seaghost models, but they aren't available for purchase as an accessory yet.
There are several bungees under the seat. Mostly for the seat. But there are also one set on each side of the seat where you would put Plano boxes. Do you know what these are for? Are they to secure the Plano boxes? Thanks
Hi J Cal, thanks for viewing my video. The long bungees (about 10 inches or so) on either side of seat are for Plano 3600 boxes. They'll slide in those slots perfectlly. There is a small plastic hook that the bungee hooks too, to secure the Planos. If the bungees are too tight (pushing the Planos down) just take one side of the bungee and hook it over the front corner of the Plano. Works just as well.
Nice addition. Have yo done a video of installing your transducer. I need to know if the Garmin 4cv plus transducer fits. It is larger than the standard 4cv transducer.
Hey Mike, the Garmin 4 Plus cv transducer will fit the SG110 or 130 fine. If you buy it new it comes with everything you need. The bracket that comes with it lines up perfectly with the pre-installed threads in the hull, enough that you can get 2 screws in, which is plenty. The Garmin includes 2 screws with the correct thread to fit the inserts too
How long do you think your fish finder lasts with that 4 amp hour battery? I just finished a portable battery box build with a 7 amp hour battery and was curious if that may be overkill or not?
Nice set up! What are the dimensions of the cargo area behind the seat? I'm interested in the 110 and 130. I'm just trying to figure out if the 110's cargo area is large enough for my crate and cooler.
I have the 110. And I can say that it does not have enough room behind the seat. My crate barely fits by itself. A very small cooler MIGHT fit. But I doubt it.
