I am DoctorWiki and I started this channel to allow me an outlet to share with the world my best and sometimes worst moments in gaming. I have been playing video games for most of my life and I am always very interested in games that can hold my attention so well.

Don't let the lack of traction get you down, that's just the rules of the game. You're completely at the mercy of the algorithm, trends and just flat out luck. Your videos definitely meet the quality standard, you're just simply not getting lucky.
Another enjoyable S.T.A.L.K.E.R video, with each one in this series it’s making it hard for me to resist buying and jumping in, I feel like the videos showcase the atmosphere of the game very well and it makes me want to be a part of the universe. Keep up the great work Doctor Wiki!!!
I have been on the lookout for more games that give you a high amount of player agency as well as having no regard for you as the player. Games like STALKER, Project Zomboid, and X4: Foundations are all on my list of games that I would like to sink some time into. Wartales has been a pleasant surprise, and the freedom that exists in the game has me thinking of multiple playthroughs.
This is really high quality, good stuff Doc! Just a heads up, make sure to watch out for a bug that makes bodies not have any items on them what so ever. If this happens, just save and reload or reload a prior save, I got softlocked out of a quest one time because a body didn't have an important item and I saved the game after it had despawned, good hunting!

половина кадров такая параша... кровосос, который забегает за спину, но герой не смотрит туда и идёт вперёд... и вуаля кровосос , опят какого-то хера спереди ждёт и не стал атаковать сзади. как робокоп выходит под огонь минимум четверых и спокойно , как в тире, их расстреливает, ни разу ни получив в обратку. анимации как у бревна. скорее всего обосрутся жидко. первый сталкер был инновационен, хоть и забаганный. здесь ничего нового, упор идёт на историю, через катсцены, что говорит о коридорности.а значит, никакой живой зоны, живущей без игрока, ждать не стоит. новых механик, реализованных давно в модах - тоже не показали. надежда на разовое приключение, хотя бы уровня В и мододелов, впоследствии.
@@reesay6155 Украинский - это такой же "язык", как диалект скауз, например. Был бы он "языком", то не изменился бы настолько сильно за последние 30 лет.
I was a little disappointed that the release date was pushed back. On the other hand we have plenty of other S.T.A.L.K.E.R. content to keep us busy! Been looking at doing a playthrough of "S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl" with the Radiophobia mod. But there are also some solid mods for Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat as well.
wow the voice acting is.... unique. its like they just found some random people at the side of the road and gave them a few bucks to read some lines with "emotion".
I have been enjoying the ever loving hell out of these games. Clear Sky had a lot of really great moments as well as some frustrating ones. Still... Even for its flaws, it was a memorable and fun experience. I will definitely be revisiting this game again but with some hand picked mods. If you have any suggestions outside of just SRP leave me your suggestions below! Cheers!
@@darkdakrioadenitis9688 I believe at this point I didn’t realize their value. I was completely new with the series and made plenty of mistakes. I will be coming back to ShoC in the future. You can count on it. But… it will be different during our second go around.
I loved the AI in this. I was continually impressed by just how this game really felt like it would have been MILES ahead of it's time. This is still my most favorite experiences now that I have played all three. It's melted a special little radiated hole into my heart.
I intend to play the game with subtitles if it is possible. I enjoy the immersion that comes from not knowing what everyone is saying and having to discern the tone.
Разработчики аномали и модеры. Довели картинку их продукта почти до совершенства. И это на ущербном движке от gsc, тут куча коротких трейлеров с пререндером. Мол "*смотрите какая у нас территория около заброшки ли вон лес* а то что анрил эту густоту сам делает и позволяет делать. Никто не думает. И то что закармливать нас короткометражными терейлерами сырого продукта- второй раз уже не прокатит. С локациями вырулили удобно, продолжениек же, старые локи должны быть. Сам анрил как движок подтянут графику. Касательно оружия, что в броне что в оружие,сталкер был сам по себе. интересные, особенные. тут на тебе семейство м4 которое все на одно лицо, на одном скелете и с одними же анимациями.

Да модеры настолько ее вылизали модами что теперь смотря на них можно сказать что это что угодно но не сталкер, а ебучий мутант у которого нет единого визуального стиля
I cant find it anywhere, what is in The other editions? Like it says "assult rifles" but what exactly are they? The same ar as normal or does each edition give a different weapon
@@mrfluffyribs3141 The rifles are different. IIRC, because it has been a little while since I started, I think you get an AKM, SKS, and an M4… I believe you get multiple basic M4s as well when but mentions something about multiple being given for that specific edition. Hope that helps!
You probably figured that out already but the NPCs saying "Оружие убрал" is Russian and it means "Put your gun down"(hide it). Some NPCs won't talk with you unless you hide your weapon. BTW, in this English version you have Russian for "ambient", but there is also a Ukrainian variant. Also, Ukrainian is a completely different language it's just of Slavic origin same as Russian, Belorussian, Polish, Czech, and other Slavic languages. Almost all Ukrainians do understand Russian because it was the main language in the Soviet Union, but not vice versa, Russians don't clearly understand Ukrainian.
All very interesting! Thank you for sharing this with me. One of the aspects that I have enjoyed the most about playing STALKER is getting to know different people who enjoy the game and learning about how the languages of the game provide another layer of perspective. It’s such a deep universe in this way that it is almost akin to the differing languages within fantasy novels like JRR Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings. On the surface, the language can be interpreted, but there is an entire culture lying right below the way phrases are said. For instance the phrase Cheeky Breeky! It can be directly interpreted but in another language the underlying meaning within the context are somewhat lost in that translation. The only way I have to understand this context at this point is thinking about how someone from the UK can say something in English, but as a US English speaker, the phrasing may not make sense or be left without cultural context.
I love it. It reminds me of hearing the Diablo 2 soundtrack for the first time. We just finished Clear Sky today! Next series will be hitting in a few weeks. Streams are starting on Monday of CoP!
It’s a solid game! Had an incredible time with it. I just finished on Monday. I am a little ways into the second title now; Clear Sky. So far I really enjoy the changes and story.
Check your messages at the top right of your screen when you are at the base. If you do not see the messages from Handshake with your gear, you need to put a support ticket in.
No, these items are given to you once. However as you progress through the game by unlocking and ranking up vendors, the items that are higher quality become available to you.
So if you can upgrade the stach size after their first updates, why pay 65 euros more for just the items which you gonne lose ingame anyway? only for the 3x3 secure locker?
