Lady Astor, a pre-war Nazi sympathiser, labelled soldiers in Italy "D-Day Dodgers" as she mistakenly believed that the forces in Italy had an easy time and were avoiding invading France. She could not have been more wrong and should been sent to Italy (or any war front) to let her see what reality was. Idiot. Along with most politicians she was living in the past. So sad.
