This set has come out in our stores and has actually not been very popular. There are still a lot of these cars hanging on the pegs after several weeks. It was interesting to see the statistics about the car colours and car brands used in Exotic Envy 1/2/3. Great work on this video my friend =)
Thank you. It was also the least popular out of all 3. Hot Wheels are going to probably stop with this one, but i enjoyed all of them! Have a great weekend!
We received the 10 car cases of these recently. My favourite is definitely the 1987 TOYOTA PICKUP TRUCK. The graphics look authentic and so nice to see full front and rear details on it. I like the new plastic wheel designs they used on this set. Thanks for the video my friend =)
@@JonToyCars all good here thank you mate. Not felt the best for the past few days. Think my kids passed on something horrible from playgroup. Nice that England won the football today. Great weather here too. Hope you will enjoy opening more great Hot Wheels soon my dude. Cheers to you!
@@customcollects Sorry to hear that, get well soon. Yeah, I don't think there were many people thinking England could have issues with Slovakia, but they did, huge ones (I saw the whole match). I hope they're going to recover until next game!
Great honest review that addresses the issue of multiple repeats of F&F castings very well. I feel the same way, I don't need more of the same models, I already have a few duplicates! I am wondering if the new model 1950 CHEVY FLEETLINE will be released in the F&F Premium series also, because I am happy to wait for the premium version instead of buying this basic version (the wheels are not very nice on this one). Thanks for the video my friend =)
Thanks for watching as always! Well, you could pick it up now and replace it with the premium, if it gets released. I guess it depends if collectors want it.
The stores here received this same Mix 2 of the Ultra Hots last week! Mattel distribution for RO and NZ seem to be quite well aligned! We also received the GREDDY diorama sets. Still waiting on the next wave of Car Culture, Boulevard and Team Transport. I enjoyed your video as always, especially when you compared the old 1984 UH card to the 2024 UH card and we could see how similar they were. To me it seemed the printing colour was better on the 1984 card! I like the Ultra Hots series, and I did buy the 4 Japanese cars from this mix. Thanks my friend =)
I thought the same on the printing materials, maybe because they used better materials back then. I am curious if it spiked much interest among long time collectors! Thanks for stopping by!
This STARS & STRIPES set just arrived here in NZ too! I do like how the card art joins together to make a larger image. If there were 10 cars it would be a bit better I think. Thank you for the information shared in the video =)
I hope you got the whole set! Well, they started with 10 so I am not sure what happened that they lost half... let's hope that in 2026 they're not going to make it a set of two :)))
Hey buddy! Yes the white Silvia and the black Skyline were the two cars that were first to disappear in my local area. The Corvair was certainly the peg warmer from the mix. Another fabulous video presentation, thank you =)
This mix is alright, our stores have restocked them a few times over the past month and they seem to have sold okay. I liked how you put the information about each casting (e.g. number of variations). The next Pop Culture mix looks very appealing!.
These releases are so cool! Hello friend. Where do you get your sealed cases from? I can’t find these Porsches online anyway and I never saw them in the UK. Wish you a great day and thanks for the video keep up the good work
I get them from a friend who orders them from different stores online! I'm not sure in the Uk where you can get them from, but you can try directly from US.
@@JonToyCars thanks man. You’re very lucky to have such a great friend. I will be sure to look into this more as I really like this Porsche set a lot and your video made me like them even more! Hope you’re good friend 🚗💨 thank you for the kind reply. Wish you a great day
I learnt something new today from you! There are 2 different Mattel assortment codes for this series. GDG44 and HWR57. The GDG44 comes in a box with 10 cars, while the HWR57 comes in a box with 24 cars. Maybe this is a regional thing, because we only get the smaller box sizes here, while you often seem to get the larger box sizes. Even the code printed at the top of the cards is changed according to the box size. Now, regarding this unboxing, I enjoyed seeing this mix, but I personally think that they should have made 3x Acura NSX and 3x Mazda Cosmo and 6x Toyota Starlet and 6x Honda CR-X instead. The Nissan Skyline definitely looks the best of the set! Thank you for the unboxing and review as always my friend!
Thank you for your continuing support! Yes I agree with the castings numbers in the case, maybe different cases have different numbers. We might get the bigger cases because they might be cheaper by the numbers, compared to the smaller cases when it comes to a total number ordered!
Nice artistic review as always. Great visuals. I would like to collect just the BMW from this set because I have the super treasure hunt too. Wish you a great day friend
I wonder why [2/5] has the different card artwork? Is it to do with the version of the game that the car is in? We haven't had this set here yet, but we did get some new themed assortments last week (Ultra Hots, 56th Anniversary and Neon Speeders). I liked the presentation with the Playstation controller in the background ;)
Thank you! From what I have seen in my research that's not the case with the cards, but it makes sense to be that way, so maybe I missed something. Did you get the whole Neon set?
Nice card art but the models in this set are not the best choices for me. I think the VWJetta will be the most desirable from the set, so it was good to see there are 7 in the box. Regarding the new RLC OVERDRIVE subscription I like this idea, where you are guaranteed every RLC release and then just opt out of the ones you don't want. BUT the major fault is that now RLC has excluded INTERNATIONAL collectors and changed to be for USA collectors only :/ That is a terrible decision for all the loyal collectors living outside the USA and it certainly changes my opinion of Mattel.
I am not sure if it's changed for US only, I just think atm they have some issues with it. But I really hope they will fix it, or find a way to get it back...
