Hear the stories directly from the players as we go in depth to talk about what made their story so unique.
My name is John Butler and I'm a storyteller. I write for the Canal Street Chronicles, working exclusively on a series titled, "Life of a Saint". There, I dive into the New Orleans Saints biography series to find out what a player's life is like before, during and after time playing inside the Superdome.
To find me on other platforms, search @saintjohnbutler. I'm currently on Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat. Also, feel free to email me at saintjohnbutler@gmail.com or reach out in the comments section here. I always appreciate hearing from a fellow #WhoDat!
what an absolute treat to get to hear this legend speak about himself for an extended period. i own exactly 1 authentic jersey, and you better believe it's number 12.
To be fair if Shaheed catches only one of those two deep balls, we walk alway with the W. Everything went right against the Panthers and the Cowboys, this time it didn't.
Derek Carr is the modern day version of Brad Johnson. He is a West Coast styled QB, he does not pass the ball too often, he is hyper efficient with his passes, he can generate the offense when he is given the correct pieces, and he distributes the ball to everyone on the offense.
@@SaintJohnButler If you ask me, I was more intimidated by Rickey Jackson or Pat Swilling. It is either Jackson using his strength against you, or Swilling using his speed and explosiveness against you. Of course, we cannot forget about Sam Mills either. He had a lot of toughness and heart for a player who was only 5’9”.
@@SaintJohnButler DeMario Davis could also play on that Dome Patrol defense. Jim Mora said that he would fit in perfectly. The only issue is that nobody runs a 3-4 defensive scheme anymore, because we need the Linebackers in coverage against the Tight Ends and slot receivers.
AB could have been very special in a more modern offense such as a spread / zone read which would have utilized his incredible dual threat capabilities.
@@SaintJohnButler so were his legs the Saints really failed to make use of them more often but on the few times they let him loose he was tough to stop . During that era perhaps the only better dual threat QB was none other than his cousin Michael Vick .
