The second Gen Gsxr 750 or GSX 759 Katana motors were tough and if you look how they routed the oil in those old SACHS motors it was brilliant by far the easiest to service and ultra dependable by 2000 the gsxr 750 mill had nearly doubled the rwhp of the first GSXR 750.Neat shop you have and interesting things going on.
Would this cause a rattle in engine at idle? But seems its coming from lower left side of motor,gets a little worse whe taking off and lettung the clutch out. I will still be installing one,not many but small knicks in clutch basket cover. Do you sell ignition advancers? Didnt see on web site but figured id ask. Thanks Rich Keeping the rubber side down
If I'm not mistaken that end can is manufactured by U-CP, it has a 60mm inlet and I believe the mid pipe has been flared to match. Check out Brian Wells youtubbe channel and you'll see one fitted to one of his builds. As for why I know, I sent Brian the link to the end can as not only does it suit the REX, its also only about £100 delivered to the UK from Japan. Ladybird style, without the price.
I had a shock the other day, I run a similar cover and when about 400 miles from home I noticed a high pitch squeal coming from the motor, the chain needed lubricating, of course with the stock cover you wouldn't notice it so its now my chain lubrication alarm.
The customer service is really good! And the cost for the information that is provided is simply like giving money away, but a customer will have peace of mind that they are in good hands financially with any Compton Motor work. Great R and D mechanics. ❤
Your work and parts are excellent! I will commission a build from you soon. I've had my zrx1100 for 22 years and love it just as much as the day I bought it. It would be so nice to do a build on it like this.
