loved the reaction!! please consider checking out some of her older stuff. bellyache music video, lovely music video (ft. khalid), no time to die, anything from her first EP: don’t smile at me, as well as songs from her other albums: when we all fall asleep where do we go and happier than ever. ocean eyes is also a great one to react to, that song marks billie’s beginnings as it was her first song she dropped at 13 and had no idea it would lead her to the success she’s at now. also if you like interview type content you should react to some of those of her as she’s a HELLA cool person. billie eilish is such a fun rabbit hole to fall into.
all 10s in my book! chihiro and bittersuite started out maybe 8 on first listen, but after a few they're 10s for sure, lol!!! those songs are grower for me, they're like recurring or ongoing thoughts... like her songs TV and male fantasy.... bittersuite to me also have the feels of billie Bossa nova... not the sound, but more of shenanigans :) Love Billie and all her eras, and whatever future Billie will want to share with us! p/s, I get that a lot of people got creeped out by the diner, but I love it... not the back story of course, coz I hate for anyone to be stalked esp like that... but the sounds itself reminds me of little billie singing bellyache!!! bellyache was the first of her MV I ever watched.. great song! :)
The average she gets is $250; the more expensive ones were listed at $450 as far as what she gets paid for tickets. Scalpers (including Ticketmaster's own secondary site) are ripping everyone off. She probably doubles her part with merchandise, though. The venues are supposed to make their money off food and beverage sales. . . . . . . . . . . . right.😒
It would also be cool to add chapters to the video for each song, like marking where each song begins, or even adding a tracklist to the pinned comment.
Much respect for owning up to this, a lot wouldn’t have. That aside, thanks for reacting to her album - her and FINNEAS are legit genius’s. Ps. The Greatest is my fave song on the album - glad you agree. 😊
Thanks, kinda lower scores than I'd give on Sklinny and Chihiro - 10s to me. Chihiro best song to me, no one else could have made that! Skinny, the Greatest's peak, and the end of Blue share the same melody. Thanks again.
This reaction was so wholesome, I’m so glad you enjoyed it! 🩷 I absolutely love this album that it stays on repeat through the day. I think she’s really unique as an artist and I feel like she’s giving the music industry something that people haven’t really heard before. If you like this, you may like some of her other music/videos too :)
I loved your reaction! ❤️ I think she’s mainly been considered alternative throughout the years because she has such a unique sound and distinct production, but I agree with everyone else saying that she’s influenced by rock/blues/jazz/rap because she’s very versatile and not afraid to explore other music styles. given that you liked this song/performance, you may like to react to her new album Hit Me Hard and Soft! Personally, I think this is her best album yet and (also personally) it has recently become one of my favorite albums of all time. I’d definitely tune in to see you react to it and if you did, I think you’d be pleasantly surprised/impressed! :)
she is a STAR! transcendent, no matter what kind of songs she sings... most important about her is the emotions she convey to us through her music and singing... and the voice and person is sooooooo beautiful.
I’d say Billie isn’t a pop star but more a pop artist since that is where she started, but musically she is alternative- lots of rock/jazz/blues/electronic influences in her music. Shes a super skilled singer and she says jazz is where she feels most at home vocally!
She shares less and less with your average pop girly as time goes on. Perhaps the only thing remaining is her immense popularity. She has more monthly listeners on Spotify than Taylor Swift.
Bro you need to do more Billie! She’s so amazing and talented! She also performed 3 other songs you should do those as well! The guy that was singing with the guitar is actually her brother! They make all of her music together and he always performs with her!
