Tom is at his best in this Movie I love him In Jerry Maguire he did such a wonderful work in it and he was sexy as Hell In too and then I am reminded of how he used to be before Scientology got their claws o. Him . With his new personality it is hard to imagine him as someone who was once so different and innocent and carefree now thanks to MiMi he is now a changed man .
Why in the World is Tom acting so Chill and Relaxed do you think he has a Cold ? Because he is wearing a hat a rather big hat looks like a little snug on him. , he doesn’t seem like himself he is just looking not like the Tom Cruise that I know and love ❤️ by the way with my heart . And he maybe trying Hide maybe a bad haircut?
What a beautiful capture of Tom Cruise in, what I believe, was his true essence before Scientology got their brainwashing claws into him. I used to watch this movie a lot, but since Tom's new personality I can't. I'm sure his Scientology current self would be embarrassed by himself here, which is such a sad thing.
Well, "The Northman" is an adaptation of "Amleth", which inspired Shakespeare to write "Hamlet", which was the inspiration for "The Lion King", so here everything goes back to the beginning
Pyro honestly works great as a bodyguard. Able to nullify fire tick damage, airblast rockets, keep off spies. It's honestly sort of strange that the Pyro Bodyguard is so underutilized, though I guess a Pybro is literally just that but for a sentry
35:34 Interesting that he mentions motion blur as something he wants in computer animation, and we've now had it for a few years thanks to films like Into the Spider-Verse! I would love to hear Bird's thoughts on some of the more recent experimental animated films.
I may be wrong, but I believe Bird is referring to the kind of motion blur that’s not at all related to what SpiderVerse is doing. Spiderverse is so strict about maintaining a comic book/graphic art quality that it doesn’t use motion blur (nor does it use traditional depth of field conventions for blur) When it comes to the type of CG animation that Pixar usually engages in, he’s talking about the procedural motion blur that’s applied in the final render of each shot (in Renderman) I remember some interview with animators where they talked about fighting with that final motion blur effect, realizing that it affected the effectiveness of their animation. Animation that looked good to them with no motion blur applied would end up lacking clarity when the blur was applied in the final render process. They would have to alter their animation to compensate for what the motion blur was doing. I assume that back in 2007, Renderman was incapable of creating arcs with the motion blur. It was just doing linear motion blur.
