I've used the 58 kwh battery version. The buttons on the steering wheel isn't anything I've ever experienced any problems with, but it could be because I believe they changed them a bit later. The range when I've driven to the store and som friends during the summer could give me a range around 400 to 425km. But later when its colder it gets around 360 to 380km, really cold weather 280 to 320km. Here in Sweden we have a law that has made the new electric cars to simulate a Sound (like a speceship or whatever it's actually trying to sound like) so I've never experienced what was said in this video, but maybe others countries are softer about that point. It's nice to se that it most have improved or something, but for my own experience as a driver where i drive around 100km everyday, during the summer and winter drives about 1000km trips. I would recommend to buy the 77kwh battery, I have the 58kwh battery, but during the winter it would be nicer to have the 77kwh battery.
a car for the forza/gran turismo guys.. RPM display with progressive yellow/red zones... when DSG is doing everything cmon... stop joking. . at least is not a full blown gamer environment with LED stripes like in the new mercedes models. .
Big fan of your channel for the great honest reviews. Being in the USA we do not get all the cars nor options on the cars here that Europe gets but find them interesting. Thank you for the fantastic content for all of us to enjoy!
@@keytothegate68 Just picked up Golf R last week with the 6 speed. People talk bad about the manual but I do not like the DSG. The DSG is faster but not all about speed.
Does the 20th anniversary come with DCC standard in Germany or is it optional? and does the regular golf -r come also with DCC along with the performance package or is it a separate option?
I think your wrong on the carbon fiber I ordered one all carbon no black and it went through. The piano black sucks. On my c300 I swapped it out for about $80 labor $400 + easy I should have done it my self lol
VW seems to have cut corners in the weirdest ways with this new gen Golf. I have a MK7 and watching this vid is the first time I noticed the new Golfs have exposed keyholes, no plastic cover to clean that up like the MK7 did? I guess the prop rod under the hood might save some small change, but a separate plastic cover for the keyhole??
The stability at high speed is very good and the brakes are awesome. You can change from sport modus to comfort or the nurnburgring. Then the suspension very stable but comfortable and the shifts of the gearbox very fast and short.
@@ReconRangersPasukanKhusus Sadly, the days of the ICE car are over. 2024 Model 3 Performance (after federal EV rebate) costs about the same as a 2024 Golf R and would destroy the Golf R on public roads and on race tracks.
It's a nice vid, but have to point out one thing which is there has no centre differential on the new Ranger Ratpor, the BorgWarner used the clutch pack for it, so it's not a permanent AWD but an on-demand type.
Lovely review man. It is indeed an interesting vehicle with crazy F1 tech. Worth keeping an eye on it during this year. You deserve more subs as well. Respect and keep it up
Great, detailed review, especially sitting in as a tall guy (I’m 6’-2”) and interacting with it all. I can’t imagine this accelerating much more than 7 secs to 60mph/100km with the 2.5, given the similar, slightly lighter new chassis than the existing Crosstrek Sport.
Very nice voideo, congratulations. One question, do you think that the T model without air suspension but with "only" PASM is sufficient in terms of comfort? Thank you.
As always....excellent comments while you are driving. You make me feel like I am in the car. Thanks! I will place my order as soon as my local dealer gets its next 2023 Macan S allocation.
Depends on what kind of performance you are talking about. I bet it will out perform a corvette in the snow. It will whoop a civic type R up a mountain trail.....
