The adventures of a junior metal detectorist! I just LOVE metal detecting. I think more kids should get involved, it's the fun way to learn history. Watch my videos as I share the holes I dig & the goodies I find in them. Also on Instagram. The face of Fun Detectors, making detecting fun for families.
Brilliant! I just came over from Nicola's channel, and what a find you are! Such a presenter at such a young age. I have a feeling metal detecting videos are just the beginning for you young Paddy, I'm going to enjoy watching the ascent to stardom 🩷
Those copper washers give the most wonderful signals, they get me everytime. The big mystery copper coin was 100% George 4th, can't say I've ever seen one before though, I bet they are really rare to find. That permission still holds some exciting finds !! Not sure about that sibrator thing though, £50 for a water spray and toothbrush 👎
Fantastic commentating paddy you will have a long brilliant future in what you do young sir congratulations on your great finds keep it up absolutely 100% crystal clear. I understood all you said nicely done thanks LETS HOPE YOU FIND THE NEXT GOLD OR SILVER HOURD ILL KEEP MY FINGERS CROSSED FOR YOU YOUNG PADDY 🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🫡🫡🫡🫡🤔🤔🤔🤔
28:04 i still have a video of nicola finding a roman silver denarius in incredible condition 2 or 3 years ago and her whooping it up bless her, great work guys looking forward to the collabs.
Thanks for watching, there’s the link to a tutorial by my good friend Gary, hope this helps! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-32u-JGWBDk4.htmlsi=Knj5ZtoaNsCgHASQ
That may disappoint you. It's not a roman disc brooch. It's a part of a bracelet dating back to the French colonisation of Algeria. The star and the crescent are for Algeria, and the blue, white, red enamel is for the French flag. It's clearly not cast, but stamped, a tech romans had not developed.
Wow, I didn’t know that at all 😂. I’ve always been curious of the star on it as I’d never seen one with that pattern before, I only thought it was a disk brooch as back on the dig many years ago quite a few people said it was one. Thanks a lot for telling me!
Hello came over from nicola white mudlark videos and its lovely to find your channel. Happy belated birthday wishes. Did all the like and subscribe jazz. Much love from Brighton 😊
Hi mate, nice product review video. I wouldn't recommend using this on your best finds straight away though. I'd have used some Vicky pennies or something. You want to be brushing this stuff on, rather than dabbing, otherwise the result is patchy and uneven. I tried this product a while back, its OK on some things, but I'm not a big fan of the wet glossy look. In my opinion it removes the 'age' look that we want in our finds. But it definitely has its place in this hobby
Hey mate, sorry for the late reply. I tested it on a few coppers before hand and I liked the finish that’s why I ended up doing it, thanks for watching
Happy birthday mate im 50 and looking to start a hobbie want abit off advice what is a good machine for the beach never done metal detecting before hope you can help
Sorry for the late reply, thanks for watching. I would recommend one of the Nocta machines, they’re great. My favourite is the legend however there’s some cheaper ones as well which are also great
Well done Paddy and Andy. Those Romans were awesome. Such great condition. Was great to catch up at Detectival and better on Sunday. Thanks again to you both for allowing us on your permission and your friendship. Take care fellas 🦘🦘😁👍
Thanks a lot mate, sorry about last Sunday, couldn’t believe that field was filled with green waste, gutted about that. Was still awesome to catch up, thanks for the company!
Always nice to see detectival coming up trumps! I bet the organisers always fear that nobody will find anything 😂 so many romans this weekend though! Wonderful to see! Great episode mate!
Awesome mate, great to see that second session unearthing all them Romans. Shame it dried up after we left, I thought your dad would have found the pot !! See you soon mate
Cracking video paddy cant wait for part 2 was great meeting you and your dad, im glad i drove the lads down there and when your turned up it really did turn our weekend around if it wasnt for your dad finding that 2nd roman i doubt we would of stayed on that field for to long after that. 😅
Interesting vblog. Looks like the camera man has been made in some shots redundant. Paddy filming himself 😊 Unfortunately, I could not attend Detectival this year 😢
Well done Paddy and Andy. Great Roman Andy and a very nice strap end Paddy. Great to catch up with you both again and glad it won't be too long before our paths cross again. Take care fellas.
Awesome video mate! What a great weekend we all had! Really nice to see you both again… by the way that tent was massive and I was stuck in my car on the second night… might have to splash out and camp in style next year 😂
That was absolutely awesome watching this. Note to self - don't wear white t-shirts on rallies cuz it shows off my beer belly haha. Such a buzz that was finding those 3 Roman coins, so pleased I got you and your dad over to share the experience. We seem to share some great detecting adventures together at Detectival. Hope to see you soon dude
