I’m really struggling to like mine. Seat is so uncomfortable, super thin layer of foam so the plastic mesh supports dig into my thighs; so painful. I can’t believe anyone finds the seat bearable. Mine was manufactured April 2024, so the latest model. On the plus side, mine doesn’t make any noise at all. I’m 185cm, 78kg.
Oh wow, that’s very surprising bro. Yes, this batch that was recently manufactured are not noisy at all. But mine is extremely comfortable and I don’t feel the plastic mesh. Sorry to hear about your experience though
I don't believe that this power station is using a Solid State Battery. If you're lucky it has an LFP vs a normal Li-Ion battery. My reasons for this suspicion are, looking at their website they are very vague at explaining what a Solid State Battery is and why it's safer than a regular Li-Ion battery. Another reason being that there are currently no in production Electric Vehicles that are using Solid State Batteries, there are however many manufactures working on research and development towards this technology. I don't like the fact that they are lying about what is in their product, I would not keep this in your house if I were you, if they lied about the type of battery tech in this, I worry how bad its safety features are. I think this goes without saying but, batteries can be very dangerous, please be careful around this one especially.
Hey friend, Thanks for your concerns. It's crucial to know what battery tech we're dealing with, especially for safety. You’re right that solid-state batteries are mostly in the R&D phase, even for EVs (As I mentioned in the video), so it's fair to question their use in the Yohino's batteries - Thats why this technology is only available in smaller production units like this. The website might be vague, but it doesn't necessarily mean they're lying. It's best to confirm with Yohino directly about the battery type if you have concerns, they are really tchill and replying. Safety-wise, all battery types have strict protocols. Following the manufacturer’s guidelines and keep the device in a safe area and all that. If you have serious doubts, contacting the manufacturer or a battery safety expert is a good idea. Thanks for commenting bud.
Buyers Beware! Herman Miller has been dragging out my return... (2 Logitech Embody chairs). The first came horribly beat up and punctured...so when trying to refuse it with FedEx...they flat out refused to take it back that day and left it mid driveway, while also signing for it...not me (Shame shame...illegal)! Anyways, HM issued a label to return it that way...though again FedEx...who then rolled it end to end (Not supposed to do that either) finally picked it up...and HM issued a replacement...shipped before the other was returned. Well, the replacement was defective and damaged, yet no visible damage to the package. Well after contacting them over and over via phone and emails...and thru several agents...they finally provided me the final return label. However, it has now been almost a full month, and still no refund, or even confirmation of such. Then, they have been so desperate to keep my money, they keep trying to get me to buy another chair..or even locally at my nearest stores...and offered 30% off up from my original 24%...and then today, even offered to make one personally for me from Michigan to again ship to me. Even after telling them I am only interested in my refund! UGH!
What is the dimensions for your desktop? Can you link it? Also the legs you put on? I am thinking of buying the G9 and unsure if it will be too close to my face while gaming - what is your experience with the monitor?
1:13 KMT, from I looked at it I KNEW it could NOT be "budget". You kept spending and adding it. Budget does not mean you not buying the high end versions of say the desk and chair, it means u have $500 for eg. be practical and that set up is NOT PRACTICAL.
To use a 240Hz gaming monitor that you can use at 120Hz in your setup at 60Hz just because you mostly use it for productivity is interesting logical fallacy.
What do you think about the monitor so far since posting this video? Has it given you any new problems? There are so many terrible reviews online. Many of them reporting the monitor stopped working all together. Also, I was wondering if you have seen any burn in? Thanks bro. I've taken a lot of inspiration from your set up. Im a big Batman fan too!
I love your style -- it's like elevated, adult nerd. I like how you still have the fun lights and tech for gaming, but it doesn't look like a neon teenager's bedroom. And it's not impractically minimalist/empty either. As 30-something geek, I'm always looking for ways to express myself and my nerdy interests in a more classy way.
