After betting talked out of the Sterling version Sabre and buying a core model Sabre instead - and being blown away, even still - there's a solid truth here: you get what you pay for. With Musicman, it's all true. I can't put it down. (No super glue accidents or anything like that, it's just soooo good!) So yeah, I get it. :)
Yeah I have the hydro space, I think number 86 or 87 out of 150 in the world I just think is so badass!!!!! And I actually had some issues with the piezo on my specific guitar I never sent it back as I don’t want to be without it but I need to get it looked at. Maybe you may be aware of some issues with not all the strings being the same volume?? But yeah that’s what happens like everything sounds great then you get to the g string and it’s mute? Like the piezo doesn’t amplify it?
Because, aside from the cnc machine cutting and shaping the neck through and horn components, we handcraft everything else. Considering all the features, you're getting what you pay for or what you would pay to modify a cheaper guitar to sport the push/push pots, piezo electronics, active pickups, seamless pickup selection, proprietary bridge and electronics kitting, and the best of tone and aesthetic woods available. Why are Porsche's so expensive? It's a silly question.
Ok I get it I’m an EBMM fanboy too and I’m about to buy a mystic dream maj8, love their stuff. I’m just saying though - can’t these exact sounds be emulated by any modeler from positive grid tone cloud. For the practice player, honest q. Again guitar is awesome, but it’s the playability isn’t it, not just the tone/sound bc that seems more repeatable. To me at least, but open to other ppls views.
If you have no experience in manufacturing you are pretty much clueless. Feel free to start a company and make guitars. You will soon see why it costs so much to make quality instruments.
Sloppy playing with digital effects doesn’t justify the price..Again why are they so expensive if you can’t answer just admit it nobody is going to be mad..
Because they are premium quality guitars. They hold their value better than more massed produced brands like fender and Gibson. I’ve played em all. I worked at a guitar store for over 8 years. EB is unbeatable. If you compare their prices to other premium builders like PRS, they are very reasonable. I paid about $1900 in 1996 for an arch top sunburst quilt Peavey Wolfgang brand new. One of the first ever sold. That’s around $3700 in today’s $. A couple years ago, I bought an Ernie ball stingray rs for $2150. It’s just as good as my wolfgangs. Top of the line EVH wolfgangs are selling close to $4000 now. I think EB has very reasonable prices for the quality you get.
Because of changing presets on the computer?)Why nobody asked why for this amount of money so huge problems with the quality of the fretboard and frests?))))😂 Even Music Man by itself ignores this question)
What I always found dissapointing on the musicman is, that they didn't recess the backcovers into the body, but they are "sticking out". Thats not very flush. Also I have to say the pickup selecter is not my preference. What I don't like about Musicman is, that most guitars are just signature guitars. I don't want to be associated with another guitarist, but most cool models are just aviable as signature models unfortunatly.
